West Bengal Student Internship Scheme Online Registration Process
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced the ‘Student Internship Scheme’ under which 6,000 graduate students will be selected as interns. This scheme will provide work experience to the students along with a monthly stipend. Applications will be accepted in an online mode and a selection board headed by the Chief Secretary will make the selections.

The government of West Bengal has launched the West Bengal Student Internship Scheme. Through this scheme, internships will be provided to the students of West Bengal in government departments. This scheme was launched on 31st January 2022.
All those students who will get an internship through this scheme will be provided Rs 5000 per month. The government will provide benefits to 6000 interns who have completed their undergraduate studies.
West Bengal Student Internship Scheme Application
Residents of West Bengal who complete graduation, including those from polytechnics and ITIs, with 60 percent marks will be eligible to apply for the programme. Candidates below fourty years will be eligible to apply. Selected students will be deputed to different state government offices or district-level offices on the basis of their location. A certificate will be given after the completion of the internship.
