Summary: The West Bengal Govt’s decision to provide students of Higher Secondary schools with tablet devices was announced by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. As per the latest update, Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal Government is planning to give out tablet devices to over 9.5 lakh students in the state who are due to appear for the Higher Secondary examination next year. WB Free 9.5 Lakh Tablet Devices Online Registration Process

Free Tabs for Students in West Bengal: Under this scheme, the state government will provide free tabs for students in West Bengal. CM Mamata Banerjee announced that around 9.5 lakh students studying in govt. / govt. aided schools would be benefited under Free Tablets Scheme.

All Eligible Applicants who want to apply this scheme then read all instructions carefully and follow the given below steps to apply online application form:

Procedure to Apply Online West Bengal Free Tablet Scheme Application Form 2023

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of West Bengal Free Tablet Scheme i.e. wb.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply Online for Tablet” button.

Step 3- The application Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as Student name, father name, date of birth, gender, caste and other information) and upload documents.

Step 5- Click on Submit Button for the final submission of the application.

Note: The state govt. of West Bengal may invite WB Free Tablet Scheme application form. To get tablet free of cost, each of the student in govt. / aided school or madrasa may have to fill registration form for tab at the https://wb.gov.in/ or at a new dedicated portal. WB Tablet Prakalpa Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal State
  • An applicant must be studying in a Government School or Government Aided School or Madrasah

West Bengal Free Tablet Scheme 2023: Online Application Form PDF Download – West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that her government will give 9.5 lakh tablets to higher secondary students to attend online classes.

Banerjee said, “In the midst of the pandemic and the lockdown, many needy students failed to attend online classes as their parents can’t afford computers or laptops. They don’t have smartphones either. Hence, we have decided to provide tablets free of cost to all such students in madrasas or pursuing the Higher Secondary course.”

Objectives of West Bengal Free Tablet Scheme 2023

SCHEME OBJECTIVE
The WB Free Tablet Scheme 2023 has been initiated by West Bengal government in which free tabs will be offered to students. The main objective of the scheme is to provide online education to all of the students who are not able to purchase tabs.  The government also provided 20 proposals to set up IT offices in the Bengal silicon valley hub. A 3000 crore investment will take place to provide IT facilities to the residents of West Bengal State.

  • Each of the beneficiaries will get one tab each in this free tablet distribution scheme.
  • All HS students at these schools would be provided with tabs.
  • 36000 Government and Government Aided secondary schools will be provided to the facility.
  • The tabs will be provided to the students for a lifetime and the students will be able to get an education till their graduation through these facilities.
  • In addition to this, the state government has also announced that all secondary schools in the state will be given a free computer using which they can conduct online classes for the students.

  • WB Free Tablet Scheme 2023 has been announced by the West Bengal government on 3 December 2020.
  • There are about 14,000 State-run and State-aided higher secondary schools in the State. We will provide tablets to each and every student.
  • Around 9.5 lakh students who are studying in government and government-aided schools will get a free tablets.
  • The decision from WB Govt comes as part of its initiative to bridge the digital divide and provide equal opportunity to all students to attend online classes.
  • At present over 1500 IT companies, including Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and IBM among others, have their offices in West Bengal. The state has around 2.1 lakh IT professionals.
  • IT services giant Infosys will start construction of a proposed software development centre in the state by July 2021. They have been allotted 50 acres of land.

There was a sms in my mobile yesterday that Rs 10000 has been failed to debited in your account. How should I change the account number and how can I give the new account number to get the money.
