In this situation, a relief package has been announced by the central and state government in view of the problem of roti for daily wage laborers. The Chief Minister of the state of West Bengal has also announced a package of Rs 1000 for all workers.

WB Prochesta Scheme Registration Process

Step to Apply Online WB Prochesta Scheme 2022

Step 2- On Homepage, Search and Click on “Apply Now” Button.

Step 3- Application Form page will displayed on screen.

Step 4- Now enter the necessary details (Mention all the details such as name, father/ husband name, date of birth, gender and other information) and upload documents.

Step 5- Click on Submit Button for final submission of application.

• Office of the District Magistrate or offices designated by the District Magistrate
• Office of the Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Step 6- Submit the application along with necessary documents to-

• The District Magistrate in District areas
• The Commissioner, Kolkata Municipal Corporation in case the applicant residing in Kolkata Municipal Corporation area.

Approval & Benefit Transfer

• Application is approved by the district magistrate through BDO in rural area, SDO in an urban area and Commissioner KMC in KMC areas after verification.
• Approved applications are forward to the nodal department.
• The nodal department will transfer the amount into the account of the beneficiaries

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal State
• The applicant must be a daily wage worker/ earner/ labour who is a sole bread winner of the family
• Applicant should not get the benefit of any social scheme of the state
• Only one person from a family is eligible
• Applicant must not have any other source of income

Key Features of Scheme

• In this scheme, rice will be supplied to the poor at Rs. 2 per kg at the time of corona infection.
• The Government of West Bengal will provide special leave to the employees serving at the time of infection of this epidemic.
• Assistance will be provided to the Corona through the Emergency Relief Fund in the state.
• Daily wage laborers working in all unorganized sector will be able to get financial assistance of Rs 1,000.

Selection Procedure

• আবেদন পাওয়ার পরে, কেএমসির জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট / কমিশনার কর্তৃক এই প্রকল্পের আওতায় যোগ্যতা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য প্রাথমিক তদন্ত করা হবে।
• সমস্ত যোগ্য আবেদনগুলি ডিজিটালাইজড এবং কেএমসির জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট বা কমিশনার কর্তৃক রাজ্য পোর্টালের প্রচেষ্টা লিংকে আপলোড করা হবে।
• তালিকাভুক্ত সুবিধাভোগীদের অনুমোদনের জন্য নোডাল (শ্রম) বিভাগে প্রেরণ করা হবে।
• জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট / কমিশনার কেএমসির দ্বারা যাচাই বা সুপারিশকৃত আবেদনগুলি প্রাপ্তির পরে নোডাল বিভাগ এককালীন প্রাক্তন গ্রাটিয়া অনুমোদন করবে।
• প্রকল্পের নাম, উপকারকারীর নাম, মোবাইল নম্বর, ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্ট নং, আইএফএসসি এবং দাবি অর্থ সহ “অনুমোদিত অনুমোদিত সুবিধাভোগী ফাইলগুলি” নোডাল বিভাগ দ্বারা স্টেট পোর্টালে উত্পন্ন করতে হবে এবং অর্থ পরিশোধের জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যাংকে প্রেরণ করতে হবে।
• অবশেষে, অর্থ প্রদানগুলি কার্যকারিতা দ্বারা করা হবে।
