WB Karmai Dharma Scheme : Online Application Form PDF Download – On November 22, 2020, West Bengal (WB) Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced two schemes “Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Scheme” (West Bengal government at every doorstep)  & “Karmai Dharma” (Work is Worship) scheme at a programme held at Sidhu Kanhu Indoor Stadium, Durgapur. The main purpose of scheme launch is to reduce the unemployed rate in the state and help the jobless get opportunities and financial help. In this scheme, youths will be provided with 2 lakh motorcycles to sustain their livelihood. People would be able to apply for Karmai Dharma Yojana through online or offline mode (yet to be decided). Around two lakh youth will be benefited from one motorcycle each and it is also said that financial aid will be given to these beneficiaries from cooperative banks. The bikes will also have boxes at the backseat so that the youth can carry. Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar Yojana Under the “Duare Duare Paschim Banga Sarkar” (West Bengal government at every doorstep) scheme, the administration will set up camps in blocks, from which officials will redress grievances of people, she said. “There will be ‘Duare Duare Paschimbanga Sarkar’ camps in every block of West Bengal. In these camps, representatives all departments will look into the requirements of people and try to fulfil them, if possible, immediately,” the chief minister said.
