Uttarakhand Free Laptop Yojana 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – Uttarakhand government is going to start the Free Laptop Distribution Scheme 2021 for students. The Free Laptop Scheme in Uttarakhand will encourage students to secure good marks in Class 10th and 12th board exams. Meritorious students of state government schools will be given free laptops. Its proposal has been sent to the government on behalf of the Directorate of Education. According to Education Director RK Kunwar, a provision of Rs 1.5 crore has been made for this in the financial year 2019-20. After the mandate, the meritorious students will be given laptops.

The idea of free laptop scheme was mooted by then chief minister Harish Rawat during the 2017 elections. Later, newly elected CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has also decided to provide free laptops to students.
