EK Must Samadhan Yojana Bijli Bill UPPCL Online Registration Process

Samadhan Yojana UPPCL Registration: Due to Covid-19, a large number of such consumers could not collect electricity bills. Due to this, a huge surcharge was levied on the outstanding bill. In order to deposit the arrears, the Electricity Department has introduced OTS for such consumers. Registration has started for this, which will run till 31 January. At the time of registration, 30% of the outstanding amount will have to be paid. The remaining amount can be deposited in a lump sum or in installments by February.

Farmers of Uttar Pradesh who have taken loan from Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Village Development Bank and lump sum settlement scheme in force till March 2020 with a view to provide relief to defaulting indebted members of the bank due to financial problems as a result of lock-down due to global epidemic of Corona Has been extended till 31 July 2020.

Uttar Pradesh Ekmusht Samadhan Yojana 2022: UP electricity bill discount scheme Online Application Form PDF Download – The Department of Power has launched the EK Must Samadhan Yojana (OTS). In this, private institutions, industrial category consumers will be benefited. This will benefit about 50 thousand consumers of the district. From the time they have taken the connection, the surcharge will be waived on the arrears of the electricity bill till November. Registration for this has also started. Due to debt owing to farmers, farmers even commit suicide, to get rid of all these problems, the Uttar Pradesh government has started a Kamusht Samadhan Yojana .Under this scheme, the farmers will be provided by the government from 35 percent to 100 percent exemption on repayment of loan taken outright . Offline Ekmusht Samadhan Application Process Consumers can register the scheme at their nearest sub-center office. CSCs in rural areas can be made online at centers. Consumers can also register themselves on the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited website. At the time of registration, the consumer has to deposit 30 percent of the electricity bill till November 2020 and the current due after November 30. After this registration will be completed.

What is a lump sum solution plan and how do you get the benefit of rebate

Under this scheme, farmers are exempted from paying a lump sum of the loan taken. This rebate can be given from 35 percent to 100 percent. For this, three categories have been prescribed in this scheme which are as follows-

Grade 1

In the cases of loans disbursed on or before 31 March 1997, the remaining principal due on the defaulting farmers will be recovered and the entire interest payable thereon will be waived.

Grade 2

On April 1, 1997 or after March 31, 2007, the loanee farmers who have become defaulters on June 30, 2017 will be exempted from interest.

1. In cases where interest equal to or greater than the disbursed loan amount has been recovered, the remaining principal will be taken.
2. In cases where less interest was recovered from the loan amount disbursed, the remaining interest and the remaining principal will be recovered to the extent of the loan amount disbursed (reducing the interest previously recovered).

Grade 3

On April 1, 2007 or after March 31, 2012, the farmers who have taken loans on 30 June 2017, will be exempt from interest.

1. 100% of all the principal due on the defaulting farmers will be recovered. 2. There will be a 50 percent rebate in interest on closing the account after agreement between the date of commencement of the scheme till 31 July 2018.
2. Interest will be given by 40 percent on account of settlement between 1 August 2018 and 31 October 2018.
3.  The agreement will be given a 35 percent discount on closing the account from November 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020.

Power Corporation has implemented the Covid-19 EK Must Samadhan Yojana for all consumers in the commercial, private places and industrial category in rural and urban areas for a short period. Under this scheme, consumers will be given a 100 percent discount on the amount of surcharge on electricity dues up to 30 November 2020. Payment will not be received from manual receipt and payment will be taken in the online OTS item. The remaining payment would have to be deposited by 28 February 2021.
