Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification of Preliminary Qualification Examination 2022 (PET 2022). UPSSSC PET Educational Qualification

Only the candidates who have passed High school/ class 10th or above can apply for UPSSSC PET 2022.

UPSSSC PET Nationality

Applying candidates must be of Indian nationality.

UPSSSC PET Age Limit (as on 01/07/2022)

The candidate must be aged between 18 to 40 years as on 01st July 2022. The candidates must have been born between 01st July 1982 to 01st July 2004. The age relaxations shall be applicable to the following categories:

Fees shall neither be refunded nor carried forward if the application for UPSSSC PET 2022 is rejected/the candidature is found to be ineligible or the candidate is unable to appear in the examination.

UPSSSC PET 2022 Notification – Selection Process

Through this recruitment exam, thousands of Group C level posts lying vacant in various departments of the Government of Uttar Pradesh will be filled. First, there will be a Preliminary Qualifying Test (PET) and after that, the Commission will take the application by issuing advertisements regarding the recruitments. Candidates will be called for the Main Examination/Skill Test/Physical Efficiency Test in different recruitments on the basis of PET score.

Candidates will go through the following selection process.

1. Scoring minimum qualifying marks in PET written exam
2. Main Exam of the concerned post
3. Interview/Skill Test (if applicable)
4. Document Verification

Those who pass the exam will become eligible to apply for various jobs offered by the state government such as Clerk, Lekhpal, etc. For final selection, the candidates will be then called for the skill test, Mains test, and Physical test.

How to Apply for UPSSSC PET 2022?

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission(UPSSSC) has released the official notification against Advt No. 04-Exam/2022 on 28th June 2022. Interested Candidates who want to appear in the exam are required to register online on the UPSSSC official website – upsssc.gov.in. Candidates who qualify for the UPSSSC PET examination will be eligible to appear in the Main examination for all Group B & C vacancies in the state. The candidates should fill the mentioned steps:

Step 1: Registration:

• Go to the official website of UPSSSC and visit the ‘Notification/Advertisement Tab.
• Then click on ‘Apply’ the click on ‘Candidate Registration’.
• Now, register yourself using your personal details.

Step 2: Now, Applicant needs to Upload a Photo and Signature

Step 3: After that, Fill Remaining Part of the Form

Step 4: Pay Fee and Reconciliation and Application Form Submission

Step 5: Take a print of the application for future purposes.

UPSSSC PET 2022 – Exam Pattern

The exam pattern as per the recent notice released for the PET is as follows:

1. The exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions
2. A total of 100 such questions will be asked.
3. The duration of the exam shall be 2 hours.
4. Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
5. The difficulty of questions for topics from sr. no. 1 to 9 shall be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.
