Uttar Pradesh Widow Pension Yojana Online Registration Process

Widow Pension Scheme benefits those economically weaker women who are unable to live after the death of their husband. Many important documents are required to take advantage of this scheme. Earlier, under this scheme, widows used to get 300 rupees as a pension, now the government has increased it to 500 rupees. The beneficiaries get 500 rupees as pension. It is necessary for the beneficiary woman to be a permanent resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh.

For beneficiary of rural area, application can be made in the Gram Sabha for the Discontinued Women Pension Scheme while for the urban area one has to go to the District Probation Officer’s office. Not only this, the department has made all these facilities online.

Procedure to Apply Online UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana Application Form 2022

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Uttar Pradesh Vidhwa Pension Yojana i.e. sspy-up.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “About Schemes” link under Widow Pension.

Step 3- New Window Open, Widow Pension Page Show on the screen and Click on “Apply Online” Link.

Step 3- The application Form page (Women Welfare Department, after the death of her husband, filled the application for Widow women pension ) will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as personal, income, bank details  and other information) and upload documents.

Deadline for application form disposal

1. For investigation – 45 days
2. Block Development Officer / Deputy District Magistrate / Municipal Magistrate – 15 days
3. District Monitoring and Approval Committee – 1 month
4. For sending funds from NIC by PFMS – 1 month
