UP MGNREGA Recruitment 2021: For the recruitment of 1278 posts for Uttar Pradesh Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme, according to media reports, today, 9 August applications are being invited. Interested candidates can apply through the UP Government’s Sewayojan Portal, sewayojan.up.nic.in. Candidates should note that the applications of only three eligible candidates, who have successfully applied for each post on the employment portal on first come-first serve basis, are to be sent to the concerned department through the portal.

The posts for which applications are being invited include 191 posts of Additional Program Officer, 197 posts of Assistant Accountant, 116 posts of Computer Operator and 774 posts of Technical Assistant. These posts are to be recruited in 74 districts of Lucknow, Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Chitrakoot, Devipatan, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Moradabad, Saharanpur and Meerut divisions.

Qualification as per posts

Additional Program Officer – Candidates should possess Post Graduate (PG) Degree from a recognized University or other Higher Education Institution. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained MBA, MCA, MSW or B.Tech/BE degree.

Assistant Accountant – Candidates should possess B.Com degree from a recognized university or other higher education institution.

Computer Operator – Candidates should have possessed ‘O’ Level Certificate in Computer or any equivalent qualification.

Technical Assistant – Candidates should have passed High School Examination with Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical trade.
