In Uttar Pradesh, the State Government has launched the ‘Pravasi Rahat Mitra’ App for migrant workers of state who are returning from different parts of country amidst lockdown. The multipurpose App is aimed at providing benefits of government schemes to the migrant workers and it will also help in monitoring their health besides providing jobs and livelihood, related to their skills.

UP Pravasi Rahat Mitra Mobile App Download

Step 1- Visit the Official Website Pravasi Rahat Mitra i.e. https://www.rahatup.in/.

Step 2- On Homepage, you will see the option ” Download Rahat App “. You have to click on this option.

Step 3- UP Pravasi Rahat Mitra app will be downloaded to your mobile phone.

Step 4- You have to click on the file of this app and install it in your mobile phone.

Note: UP Pravasi Rahat Mitra App, The basic information of the person such as name, educational qualification, temporary and permanent address, bank account details, Corona-related screening status and experience will be taken in the app. In this, app, details of more than 65 types of skills will also be collected. The status of distribution of ration kits to migrant citizens will be there in the app which can work online as well as offline.

UP Pravasi Rahat Mitra Objective

• According to the UP government, with the help of ‘Pravasi Rahat Mitra’ app, arrangements will be made to collect the data of laborers and provide them jobs and livelihood according to their skills in future.
• The unique mobile number has been made the basis for data duplication in the app.
• The responsibility of data collection under the leadership of DM of all the districts has been entrusted to the Municipal Development Department and the Panchayati Raj Department in rural areas.
• The data collected from this app will be stored on the Integrated Information Management System.

Benefits of UP Pravasi Rahat Mitra Mobile App

• This app will be installed in the mobile of migrant laborers returning from other states, so that they can be monitored during the 14-day quarantine time.
• All migrant laborers will be registered in this app and they will be given work according to their skills in the state itself.
• The data of any migrant worker can be propagated on the Integrated Information Management System Portal.
• This app can also be used online and offline. Apart from this, data of people from rural and urban areas can also be stored separately in the app for effective decision making.
• Every laborer will be required to register themselves in this app to take advantage of various government schemes.
