UP Free Boring Scheme Online Registration Process

Now farmers will not have to go round the officials for free boring. This facility has also gone online. This year no target has been set by the government for free boring. Farmers will register on the prescribed portal and boring will be provided to them free of cost.

Procedure to Apply Online UP Nishulk Boring Yojana Application Form 2022

Step 1- Visit the Minor Logo Minor Irrigation, Government of Uttar Pradesh Official Website of Uttar Pradesh Nishulk Boring Yojana i.e. minorirrigationup.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, you have to click on the Schemes option.

Step 3- After that, you have to click on the option of the application form.

Free of cost boring schemes is performing in the state from the year 1985 for the small and the marginal farmers. This is the flagship scheme of the department. This scheme has been implemented in the all districts of U.P. leaving alone highly extracted/exploited/critical development blocks.

Note: In the identified development blocks of Bundelkhand, a development block-wise grant for boring construction will be admissible for actual expenditure or ₹ 4500 to ₹ 7000 whichever is less and the amount of additional grant will be borne by Bundelkhand Development Block Fund. Apart from this, if the cost of boring is more than the prescribed limit for generally scheduled caste and tribe farmers, then the additional expenditure will be borne by the concerned beneficiary himself as per the prevailing procedure.

Uttar Pradesh Nishulk Boring Yojana Eligibility Criteria

Beneficiary Eligibility Guidelines:

• Applicant should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Applicant should be a farmer.
• The minimum holding limit of the farmer should be 0.2 hectare.
• If the farmer does not have a minimum holding limit of 0.2 hectare, then the farmer can get the benefit of this scheme by forming a group.
• The benefit of this scheme can be availed only if the farmer has not availed the benefit of any other irrigation scheme.

Preferences in Selection:

• Where tube wells are being installed, there should be cultivation
• Where it is possible to irrigate about 3 hectares of pure cultivable land from the proposed tube well.
• Work will not be done in critical/overexploited development blocks.
• Under the Samagra Gram Vikas Yojana and Naxal-affected Samagra Vikas Yojana, work will be done on priority basis in the selected villages.

The main objective of UP Free Boring Scheme is to provide free boring facility to the farmers of the state. So that the farmers of the state can irrigate.

• Bank loan can also be obtained by the farmer for arranging pump set for boring.
• The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the general category small and marginal farmers only if they have minimum holding limit of 0.2 hectare.
• The benefit of this scheme will not be provided to the general category farmers having less than 0.2 hectares of land.
• If the farmers have less than 0.2 hectares of land, then the benefit of this scheme can be obtained by forming a group by the farmer.
• No minimum holding limit has been fixed for small and marginal farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
