You should have at least 5 bighas of land for this and there should be a facility to keep 200 cows, you should have proper facilities for fodder and water for the cow. There should also be medical facilities for the cow. The government will give you the grant to open a cowshed.

Grant provide under UP Gaushala

The government will give you a grant on opening a cowshed. You will be given 30 rupees per day on a cow under this scheme. And at least if you have 200 cows, then according to 30 rupees per day on one cow, 200 cows are worth 6000 rupees per day i.e. 1.80 lakh rupees a month. That is, you can earn lakhs of rupees a month on a cowshed.
