Short Info: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued notification for the recruitment of UGC-NET for ‘Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both’ in June 2020.
UGC NET 2020 Exam will be conducted by NTA in 81 subjects at selected Examination Centers spread across the country for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The University Grants Commission (UGC) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting UGC-NET to the NTA established by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI).

|Fill Application Form UGC-NET JUNE 2020 – NTA releases UGC NET 2020 application form through the online process. Get the Step by Step guide to fill UGC NET application form 2020 below:
Step 1st : Visit the official website for UGC NET, ntanet.nic.in or click on the direct link provided above.
Step 2nd : Click on ‘fill online application form’ tab present at the bottom.
Step 3rd : Now, click on ‘new registration’ button.
Step 4th : Click on ‘proceed to apply online’ after reading the important instructions.
Step 5th : Enter the details asked in the registration page and click on the ‘submit’ button.
Step 6th : Now, proceed with UGC NET application form 2020. Enter the details asked in the application form – personal details, educational qualification. Hit the ‘submit’ button.
Step 7th : Upload the images of photograph and signature as per specifications.
Payment of application fee
Step 8th : Last Step is to pay UGC NET online application fee. Take print of the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference.

|Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.|

|What is UGC NET ?|
|On behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor Both, in Indian Universities and Colleges.
The award of JRF and or Eligibility for Assistant Professor depends on the aggregrate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professor are not to be considered for the award of JRF. Candidates who qualify the test for eligibility for Assistant Professor are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be. UGC-NET is conducted twice a year. In June 2020, the examination is scheduled between 15 June and 20 June 2020.

|National Eligibility Test is conducted twice in a year for selection of deserving candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Govt. Universities and Colleges. NTA UGC NET exam is conducted in the month of June & December every year.
