TS LAWCET 2020 – Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad, is going to conduct TS Law Common Entrance Test on May 25, 2020, at state-level. The university conducts TS LAWCET on behalf of TSCHE, to fill seats in 3 years/ 5-year LL.B. course. The exam is held in online mode and is a 90-minute examination. There is no negative marking in the exam.

TSCHE Telangana LAWCET 2020 : A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test-2020 (TS LAWCET-2020) and Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test – 2020 (TS PGLCET-2020) will be conducted by the CONVENER, TS LAWCET/ TS PGLCET-2020, Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into 3Year / 5Year LL.B. Regular Courses and 2 year LL.M. Courses in the Colleges of Law in Telangana for the academic year 2020-2021

Osmania University is going to organize the TS LAWCET (Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) every year. The LAWCET is conducted for aspirants seeking admission in 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB course. Candidates clearing the LAWCET will get admission in LLM Courses are offered through TS PGLCET. The LAWCET examination is going to be conducted Across 16 Exam Centers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Aspirants seeking to apply for Telangana LAWCET examination can apply within the specified dates in March/April months and the examination is going to be conducted in May month.

Before filling the application form of TS LAWCET 2020, candidates are suggested to keep the following documents ready to make the process smooth and error free:

TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Nationality
Indian candidates who satisfy the Local/Unreserved status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order can apply LAWCET.
Education Qualification
Aspirants applying for TS LAWCET examination must have the following eligibility criteria.

For 3 Years Law Degree Course : Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST Candidates). In case a candidate has scored less than 45% in the qualifying exam, he/she should have passed an additional degree with a minimum of 45% marks.

For 5 Years Integrated Law Degree Course : Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a recognized Board with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST Candidates).

Age Limit
As, per last year there is no age limit for the TS LAWCET.

TS LAWCET Application Fee 2020

Application Fee
All candidates have to pay the registration fee to apply for TS LAWCET.

  • The application fee for TS LAWCET is  800/-
  • Candidates who are in the SC/ST category have to pay Rs/. 500/- fo application.
  • It can be paid through online mode such as by using (credit card/debit card).
  • And it can also be paid through TS/AP online centers/Mee Seva Centres/e-Seva centers in AP and Telangana.

TS LAWCET Exam Pattern 2020

Candidates can must exam pattern for TS LAWCET 2020 for the preparation of the exam from below:

Mode of exam: The exam is held in online mode.

Duration: The duration of the exam is 90 minutes

Type of Questions: The question is of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type

Number of Questions: There are total 120 questions in the exam

Medium of the Test:  The question being asked in the set of both English and Telegu or English or Urdu Language.

Marking Scheme: In the exam, for every correct answer +1 mark is awarded and there shall be no negative marking for any incorrect answer

Distribution of question and marks – The question paper shall be divided into three parts:
