Tamil Nadu Urban Employment Scheme Online Registration Process

The Government of Tamil Nadu is going to launch an urban employment scheme on the lines of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) with a budget of RS.100 crore. The main objective of this scheme is to improve the livelihood of urban poor.

Procedure to Apply Online Tamil Nadu Urban Employment Scheme Application Form 2023

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Tamil Nadu Urban Employment Scheme i.e. www.tn.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply Online” button.

Step 3- The application Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as name, father/ husband name, date of birth, gender and other information) and upload documents.

Step 5- Click on Submit Button for the final submission of the application.

Note:

  • Within 15 days of submitting the application or from the day work is demanded, wage employment will be provided to the applicant.
  • Right to get unemployment allowance in case employment is not provided within fifteen days of submitting the application or from the date when work is sought.
