The government will also provide free transport from home to health institutions. In case of any critical or emergency, health facility will be provided within one hour. Under this scheme, the guarantee of safe delivery will be given to the woman by the government.

The central government launched the Surakshit Matritva Aashwasan (SUMAN) scheme. Under this scheme, there will be no need to give any kind of money to the pregnant woman for getting her tested. The scheme was launched on October 10, 2019 during the 13th Conference of Central Council of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi. During the delivery operation, no money will be taken from the pregnant woman and her family under any item. Transport facility for pregnant woman to go from home to health center will also be provided free of cost under Pradhan Mantri Suman Yojana. In this Scheme, include at least four ante natal check-ups that also includes one checkup during the 1st trimester, at least one checkup under Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, Iron Folic Acid supplementation, Tetanus diptheria injection and other components of comprehensive ANC package and six home-based newborn care visits.
