Subhiksha Keralam Project Online Registration Process

A new farmers registration portal has been developed as a part of the govt’s Subhiksha Kerala project. This portal will serve the purpose of collecting, codifying and coordinating related activities. All the registered farmers are provided with a personalized dashboard.

Farmers, youngsters, repatriated NRIs, Kudumbashree units and NGOs who are interested to start farming on barren land can register in the website www.aims.kerala.gov.in/subhikshakeralam to join the scheme, informed the Director of Agriculture.

Procedure to Apply Online Subhiksha Keralam Scheme Application Form 2020

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Subhiksha Keralam Scheme i.e. aims.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, click at the “Subhiksha Keralam” tab.

Step 3- After this, click at the “New Registration” tab at the AIMS Subhiksha Keralam page.

Step 4- The New registration Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Objectives of Subhiksha Keralam Scheme 2020

SCHEME OBJECTIVE
  • ‘Subhiksha Keralam’ scheme aims at large scale production of paddy, fruits, vegetables, tubers, grains and legumes as part of achieving self-sufficiency. Initially, 25,000 hectares of barren land will be turned into farming field.
  • During the lockdown situation, the government makes their need and their dependency on other states. After the lockdown situation, the government makes a scheme for becoming independent.
  • The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has earmarked ₹2,500 crore for the project, which aims at Kerala attaining self-reliance in food production within the next five years.

Major Benefits

BENEFICIARY BENEFITS
  • A maximum amount of Rs 60,000 will be available for the purchase of milk cows and buffaloes. Tribes get the same amount 50% of the Rs 60,000 will be given to the general category and 75% to ST candidates.
  • There is also help in raising poultry eggs. Egg chicks will be given to those who apply to get 2 months old chicks.
  • Pig farming assistance provides up to Rs 40,000 for raising pig to let’s.
  • Dairy farms can get up to RS 50,000 for modernization. The general category get subsidy 40 % of the project costing about Rs 1,50,000. The SC gets 75% of it. Scheduled tribes will get 100 % subsidy.
  • The maximum subsidy for paddy cultivation has been increased to Rs. 40,000. 5,000 for the owner and Rs 35,000 for the farmer. In vegetable cultivation, the farmer can subsidize Rs 37,000 and the owner Rs 3,000.
  • The maximum subsidy for banana cultivation is Rs 32,000 for the farmer and Rs 3,000 for the owner. Subsidy can be availed of at least Rs. 30,000 for small grain farming, tapioca and other tuber crops. Other crops not mentioned in the order may be given a subsidy of up to Rs. 10,000.
