Summary: The West Bengal Cabinet approved the Student Credit Card scheme, which the Trinamool Congress had promised in its election manifesto. The student credit card scheme will be launched in the state on June 30.
Under this Scheme, A student can get a soft loan of up to ₹10 lakh to pursue higher studies with the help of a credit card. Anyone who has spent 10 years in West Bengal can avail of the benefits of it. The loan will be available for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and post-doctoral studies in India or abroad.

Students can take a loan of up to 10 lakh rupees. Credit card benefits are available up to the age of 40. The government will be the guarantor of the credit card. Students can take loans for higher education with credit cards. Students who have been living in West Bengal for 10 years can take advantage of this scheme. It is worth noting that loans can be taken for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral studies in India or abroad. Getting the loan will be a very simple process. This card can also be taken online.

Procedure to Apply Online Student Credit Card West Bengal Application Form 2022
Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Student Credit Card West Bengal i.e. wbscc.wbscc.wb.gov.in. or banglaruchchashiksha.wb.gov.in.
Step 2- On the Homepage, Search for Student Credit Card Registration and Click on Student Registration.

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as Basic Details (Applicant Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhaar No) , Present Course of Study, Contact Details (Mobile No, Email ID) , Password.)
Step 5- Click on Register Button and registration details show on the screen.

| Student Credit Card West Bengal 2022: SCC WB West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme Online Application Form PDF Download – The state cabinet headed by Mamata Banerjee has cleared the new student credit card scheme. The Chief Minister announced that under this project, students will get a loan facility up to Rs 10 lakh. The validity of the card will be up to 40 years. After getting the job, the student taking the loan will be given fifteen years to repay the loan.
There are various schemes for the students like Kanyashree for the female students, Aikyashree for the minority students and Sikshashree for the SC students. Mamta Banerjee has also started a scheme to give 10 thousand rupees annually to the farmers under the Krishak Bandhu scheme. Arthik Sujog, Shobol JuboA new West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme will be launched for all eligible students to make the youth of Bengal self-reliant. Student credit cards with a credit limit of up to ₹10 lakh will be provided at an interest rate of 4%. |
