Summary: Prime Minister Narendra Modi ( Narendra Modi ) has started the Health Health Insurance Scheme. Jammu and Kashmir Jammu Kashmir every family will cover health insurance. All one crore 30 lakh people of the state will get the benefit of health insurance scheme. Under the scheme, every family will get cashless insurance of 5 lakhs.

The Scheme provides free of cost insurance cover to all the residents of the UT of J&K. It provides financial cover upto Rs 5 lakh per family on a floater basis to all residents of the UT of J&K.

It provides for an operational extension of PM-JAY to 15 lakh (approx) additional families. The scheme will operate on insurance mode in convergence with PM-JAY. The benefits of the scheme will be portable across the country.

The hospitals empanelled under the PM-JAY scheme shall provide services under this scheme as well. It covers medical procedures such as oncology, cardiology, nephrology etc and up to three days of pre-hospitalization and 15 days post-hospitalization expenses such as diagnostics and medicines are also included in the scheme.

Jammu Kashmir SEHAT Health Insurance Scheme 2022: PM Modi AB-PMJAY SEHAT Scheme Online Application Form PDF Download – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given ‘health’ to about 15 lakh families of Jammu and Kashmir today. PM Modi on Saturday launched the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Health (AB-PMJAY SEHAT) under which the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir will get the benefit of health insurance. Please tell that after 26 months the residents of the valley have got the benefit of the Arogya Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Health Scheme in Jammu and Kashmir through video conferencing. It is being told that through this scheme, people of the valley will be able to get health cover up to Rs 5 lakh. SEHAT Health Insurance Card Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch this Scheme on 26 December 2020. The full form of SEHAT is social, endeavour for health and telemedicine. The central government is going to ensure smooth implementation of the Scheme. The central government is completing the database of residents of Jammu and Kashmir in order to implement Jammu Kashmir SEHAT Health Insurance. JK SEHAT Golden Card Launch of Health Insurance Scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the work of distributing the Golden Card to the beneficiaries who have been registered under this scheme will also begin in the state. Jammu And Kashmir SEHAT Health Insurance Scheme Implementation

At least 219 hospitals, including 34 private hospitals, have been empanelled under AB-PMJAY for providing health services to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Medical procedures such as oncology, cardiology, nephrology, etc., will be included in the scheme.

As far as the portability feature of AB-PMJAY is concerned, beneficiaries can avail the services from any of the 24,148 empanelled hospitals across India.

The scheme will benefit as many as 21 lakh eligible people on the basis of Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011, officials said. The beneficiaries will get the Universal Healthcare Coverage (UHC) as per the SECC 2011database, they added.

SCHEME OBJECTIVE

The main objective of the Scheme is to provide health cover up to Rs 500000 to all the eligible residents of Jammu and Kashmir. The PM-JAY, world’s largest health insurance/assurance scheme fully financed by the government, provides a cover of Rs 500,000 per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization across public and private empanelled hospitals in India. The benefit of Rs 5,00,000 is on a family floater basis, which means that it can be used by one or all members of the family.

Around 1 crore beneficiaries will cover under this scheme. All the eligible beneficiaries of Jammu and Kashmir can apply for the Scheme through common service centre operators. The launch of SEHAT, all Jammu and Kashmir residents, irrespective of their socio-economic status, will get covered in the scheme. The government is collecting details of beneficiary families who may be missing from the SECC 2011 database. This will ensure that all beneficiaries are enrolled at the earliest so that they can avail of free healthcare services. The beneficiary identification system like the National Health Authority’s (NHA) information technology platform has been customized to implement this scheme.
