Vidya Sambal Yojana Rajasthan Selection Process

• According to the qualification mentioned in the relevant service rules, under the Rajasthan Vidya Sambal Yojana, the head of the institution can be appointed on the vacant post in the institution at his level.
• Apart from this, a district-level committee will also be constituted in the district. It will be headed by the District Collector. Guest faculty can also be selected by this committee.
• After the commencement of the academic session, applications will be invited from all the candidates having the prescribed qualification by preparing a public notice by the committee at the former district headquarters.
• Thereafter the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed minimum academic examination.
• Guest faculty will be selected on the basis of this list.
• The applications of guest faculty will be taken only against the sanctioned vacant posts.
• The work of guest faculty will be monitored and payment will be made to them only on the basis of satisfactory work verification.
• No more applications will be invited for Guest Faculty after all the posts are filled.
• For coaching, the head of the institute can also pay directly at his level as per the budget provision.

Rajasthan Vidya Sambal YojanaVacant Post Counting: Before the academic session

• Guest faculty will be appointed in schools, colleges and government educational institutions under the Vidya Sambal scheme.
• Under this scheme, the vacant posts will be counted before every academic session.
• Also, on these posts, the head of the institution directly and the District Collector Selection Committee will select the teachers according to their qualifications.
• In schools, a maximum honorarium of Rs 30,000 for first class teacher, Rs 21 thousand for third grade and equivalent has been fixed.
• Similarly, in the colleges, honorarium ranging from Rs. 45 thousand to Rs. 60 thousand was fixed from Assistant Professor to Acharya. For this, retired teachers and qualified unemployed youth can apply with the affidavit.

Objectives of Rajasthan Vidya Sambal Yojana 2022

• The main aim to launch Vidya Sambal Scheme is to provide jobs to guest faculty in schools, colleges and govt. education institutions.
• With the recruitment of new guest teachers, government wants to raise the standard of education in the state.

Scheme Benefits

• All the vacant positions of guest teachers and faculty would be counted before the start of each academic year.
• In schools, grade A teacher can get max. Rs. 30,000, grade C and equivalent teacher will get Rs. 21000 honorarium.
• According to the proposal, mathematics, science and English subject coaching will be made available to students of classes 9 to 12 in government hostels for a maximum period of three months in an academic session.
• An amount of Rs 75,000 per hostel will be spent as an honorarium at the rate of Rs 25,000 per teacher.
• Similarly, in colleges, assistance lecturers will get Rs. 45,000 while lecturers will get upto Rs. 60,000 salary.
