Rajasthan Navjaat Suraksha Yojana Online Registration Process

Rajasthan government has announced to start Navjaat Suraksha Yojana 2021 for infants. Health Department will soon bring a policy for new born babies who are born with low birth weight, malnutrition and those who are premature babies. To take advantage of Rajasthan Navjaat Suraksha Yojana, a woman must be over 18 years of age. And women can apply for the scheme only when the woman is delivered in the hospital. Women holding rural and urban BPL card will be considered eligible for RJ Navjaat Suraksha Yojana.

ABOUT SCHEME

Rajasthan Navjaat Suraksha Yojana 2021: Online Application Form PDF Download – Navjaat Suraksha Yojana was launched on 9 February 2020 in Rajasthan. The benefit of the scheme will be provided to the woman and newborn child of the state, even if the child dies during delivery, the mother will be considered eligible for the scheme. Under the Rajasthan Newborn Security Scheme 2021 , a sum of Rs 1500 will be provided to women in rural areas and Rs 1000 to women in urban areas during childbirth. A training program will be started soon for the death of any newborn in the state. For this program, 77 master trainers have been prepared, who will go to the district and block level to make the common man aware of ‘Kangaroo Mother Care’. Swasthya Mitra (स्वास्थ्य मित्रों) being set up across the state will also be given training in Kangaroo Mother Care so that the infant mortality rate in the state can be reduced further. What is ‘Kangaroo Mother Care (कंगारू मदर केयर)’? Kangaroo Mother Care is the technique in which the baby is kept sticking to the mother’s chest, so that the body heat of the mother can be transferred to the child. When the mother gets the temperature of the child, the temperature of the baby remains constant and the chances of getting cold fever are reduced to a great extent. In Rajasthan, the infant mortality rate is 35 deaths per 1,000 live births. As per the National Family Health Survey 2015-16, IMR in Rajasthan was 41 deaths per 1,000 live births. Health dept. aims to further bring down IMR by formulating Navjaat Suraksha Yojana, Nirogi Rajasthan and Kangaroo Mother Care initiative.

The main objective of Navjat Suraksha Yojna is to bring down the infant mortality rate (IMR) and to take care of neonates. This scheme aims to improve the healthcare facilities for neonates. Health dept. of Rajasthan has also decided to include Kangaroo Mother Care in Nirogi Rajasthan Yojana of the state government.

The new Navjaat Suraksha Yojana 2021 will help in bringing down the infant mortality rate further. Assistant Asha will be provided an amount of Rs 300 before delivery. An amount of Rs 1000 will be provided to women in urban areas through Rajasthan Navjaat Suraksha Yojana . Assistant Asha will be provided a support amount of Rs 200. BPL card holders will be given Rs. 500 for assistance on domestic delivery. Through the Rajasthan Navjaat Suraksha Yojana, women in rural areas will be provided a money of Rs 1400 after delivery.

The Government of Health Department Rajasthan has decided to include Kangaroo Mother Care in Narogi Rajasthan Scheme also. The Health dept. of Rajasthan will promote Kangaroo Mother Care technique to provide continuous skin-to-skin contact b/w mother and baby. Kangaroo Mother Care training programmes would be organized in Rajasthan to prevent deaths of neonates by improving healthcare facilities. The state govt. of Rajasthan has 77 master trainers in Kangaroo Mother Care which will go to district and block level to train healthcare staff.
