This announcement has been made by the Chief Minister in the State Legislative Assembly on 24 February 2021. The main objective of this scheme is to provide assistance to the beneficiary farmers on accidental death / partial/permanent disability. Interested beneficiaries who want to apply, have to fill the Rajasthan Chief Minister Krishak Suraksha Yojana application form. Mukhyamantri Krishak Sathi Yojana Online registration form can also be done online through the official website of the state government.

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Krishak Sathi Yojana i.e. www.rajasthan.gov.in.

• Deceased or Permanent disability person should be registered farmer (Have Individual or Joint name land) or child of registered farmer (Son or Daughter) or the husband/ Wife
• Death or permanent disability must be due to accident.
• Suicide or Natural death are not covered in this scheme.
• Deceased or Permanent disability person having age of 5 to 70 years.
• The application should be made within 6 months to the office of the concerned District Agriculture Officer.

Ashok Gehlot’s budget for this big announcement

1 – More than 8000 crore loans of more than 20 lakh farmers were waived and in total, more than 14000 crore loans were waived. Commercial loans of farmers will be waived by a one-time settlement.

2- 16000 crore interest-free crop loans will be given to the farmers and fishermen and livestock farmers will also be included in it.

3- Chief Minister Krishak Sathi has announced to implement the scheme and about 2000 crores will be spent on various works.

4 – About 4 lakh 30 thousand area will be brought under micro-irrigation sector and automation will also be encouraged in the next 3 years. There is a provision for this for about Rs 732 crore.

5- Announcement of electricity connection to 50000 farmers and 1000 crore works in agricultural produce mandis.

6- Announced to provide solar pumps to 50 thousand farmers in the budget speech and also announced to modernize agricultural mandis. Not only this, it has also been announced to build a farmer complex in Jodhpur.

7- Mega food parks will be built in various districts and 1000 Kisan Seva Kendras will be constructed at a cost of 200 crores.

8- 1000 new posts of agricultural supervisors will be created and a new agricultural power distribution company will be announced.

9- Bills will be sent to agricultural consumers in 2 months and 50,000 farmers will be given solar pumps.

10- Announcement regarding MNREGA, Sahariya tribe and special qualified workers will get 200 days of employment instead of 100. The announcement was made to provide economic support to the weaker sections.

Beneficiary Guidelines

To get the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory for a permanently disabled person to be a registered farmer. Death or permanent disability must be due to an accident to get the benefit of this scheme. To get the benefit of this scheme, the dead or permanently disabled person should be between 5 and 70 years old. If the farmer dies, the person receiving the benefit should be a child or girl or husband or wife of the registered farmer. The applicant has to apply to the concerned District Agricultural Officer’s office within 6 months of the accident. Suicide or natural death is not covered under this scheme.
