Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance Scheme 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the ‘Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance’ scheme at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. According to Prime Minister`s Office (PMO), the scheme has outlay of around Rs 6,000 crore. 

‘Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program ‘include an increase in the maximum project cost to Rs 50 lakh (from Rs 25 lakh) for the manufacturing sector and Rs 20 lakh (from Rs 10 lakh) in the service sector and the inclusion of applicants from aspirational districts and transgenders in the Special Category applicants for availing higher subsidies. 

Implementation and Monitoring of this scheme

Strategic Investment Plans (SIPs) will be created for the implementation of Ramp and all the states and UTs of the country will be invited to provide inputs. Through the SIPs an outreach plan will be created for the mobilization and identification of MSMEs. 

Maximum Support to MSME

  • To strengthen the MSME sector, in the last eight years, our government has increased the budget by more than 650 percent. That is, for us MSME means – Maximum Support to MSME.
  • Under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS), the central government has ensured Rs 3.5 lakh crore for MSMEs, so that about 1.5 crore jobs are saved, which is a huge figure.

Roles Of Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance Scheme

  • ‘’Policy Provider’’ through the enhanced capacity for evidence-based policy and program design, to enable the delivery of more effective and cost-efficient MSME interventions to improve competitiveness and business sustainability.
  • “Knowledge Provider” through bench-marking, sharing and demonstrating best practices/success stories by leveraging international experiences.
  • “Technology Provider” by providing access to high-end technology resulting in the digital and technological transformation of MSMEs through state of art Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Internet of things (IoT), Machine Learning etc.

  • The applicant must be a permanent president of India
  • The applicant must have creative knowledge with respect to small and marginal businesses in India.

  • “Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance” (RAMP) is a World Bank assisted Central Sector Scheme.
  • The newly launched RAMP scheme would commence in the Financial Year 2022-23.
  • The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) has launched a World Bank assisted programme on “Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance” (RAMP).
  • In collaboration with the World Bank, there will be an investment of Rs 6,000 crore in RAMP over the next 5 years.
  • Through RAMP, the MSME sector will have easy access to finance and large markets.
  • It has been launched to support various Resilience and Recovery Interventions of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME).
  • The Prime Minister also digitally transferred assistance to beneficiaries of PMEGP for 2022-23.
  • World Bank will be providing a loan of Rs.3750 crore (USD 500 Million) for this programme and the remaining Rs.2312.45 crore (USD 308 Million) is being funded by the Central Government.
