Punjab to digitise curfew passes with QR code : Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said residents could apply for the passes by simply logging on https://epasscovid19.pais.net.in.

He said they could upload their details, along with the valid reason, to move out during the curfew after which the passes would be issued to them. They can take the printout of the same after issuance.

Sharma said this would be a relief for residents as it would help them in getting curfew passes on a single click.

The Deputy Commissioner said officers of the district administration had been assigned as approving authority for these online requests in the district.
