They also released a Joint Monitoring Mission (JMM) report, a manual on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to TB patients under NIKSHAY system, a Training Module, and the quarterly newsletter NIKSHAY Patrika.

NI-KSHAY-(Ni=End, Kshay=TB) is the web-enabled patient management system for TB control under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). It is developed and maintained by the Central TB Division (CTD), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), and the World Health Organization Country office for India.

Step to Apply Online Nikshay Poshan Yojana 2022
Step 1- Visit the Official Website Nikshay Poshan Yojana i.e. www.nikshay.in.
Step 2- On Homepage, click on the option of NEW HEALTH FACILITY REGISTRATION .
Step 3- Registration Form page will displayed on screen.
Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as asked like State, District Profile Service Provided etc.) and upload documents.
Step 5- You will see a unique code and Save it.
Step 6- After successful registration you will have to login. To login you have to go to the home page.
Step 7- To login you have to enter the username and password and click on the Login button.
Step 8- In this way, the process of enrollment in this health care center of your health care center will be completed.
Required Document to Apply Online
- Doctor’s certificate – As only TB patients will be able to apply for this scheme, it is mandatory for them to submit necessary medical papers. These papers will support the claim of patients.
- Application form – Apart from medical certificates, patients need submit their application forms as well. The form will offer respective authority members details about patients.
- The TB patient must be notified on or after 1st April 2018
- All existing TB patients currently undergoing treatment are eligible to receive incentives.
- The patient must be registered / notified on the official nikshay portal at nikshay.in.
Financial incentive of Rs.500/- per month for each notified TB patient for duration for which the patient is on anti-TB treatment.
The scheme is registered under Direct Benefit Transfer. The incentives can be distributed in Cash (only via DBT preferably through Aadhaar enabled bank accounts) or in-kind.
Key Features of Scheme
- Through this scheme, a better platform has been developed for those who are suffering from TB disease.
- All the necessary information of the data of the patients enrolling under this scheme is being monitored by the Central Government and the concerned department.
- Rs 500 per month is being provided as financial assistance to the TB patients joining this scheme. And this amount is provided to them every month till they are completely cured.
- About 13 lakh TB patients are able to benefit from this scheme. This figure may increase further.
