Health ID will be given to every countryman under this scheme. The health ID given under this scheme will have a complete account of the health of every citizen.

What is the National Digital Health Mission?

क्या है नेशनल डिजिटल हेल्थ मिशन योजना? NDHM is envisioned to create a national digital health ecosystem that supports universal health coverage in an efficient, accessible, inclusive, affordable, timely and safe manner, that provides a wide range of data, information and infrastructure services, duly leveraging open, interoperable, standards-based digital systems, and ensures the security, confidentiality and privacy of health-related personal information.

What is a health ID?

Every person in the country will get a digital health ID which is basically a digital format of all his/her health records which will be linked to the registry of doctors and health facilities across the country.

Why create a Health ID?

Using a Health ID is the first step towards creating safer and efficient digital health records for you and your family. You can opt-in to create a digitally secure Health ID, which allows you to access and share your health data with your consent, with participating healthcare providers and payers

What is a Digi Doctor?

The Digi Doctor option will allow all doctors of the country to register on this app. In this, doctors can also give their mobile number if they want. These doctors will be provided digital signature for free and they can use it while writing the form.

How will work National Digital Health Mission?

कैसे काम करेगा नेशनल डिजिटल हेल्थ मिशन?: National Digital Health Mission will work as follows:

Step 1: Under this mission, information of health services will be available on an app across the country along with details of the doctor.

Step 2: By downloading this app, you will have to register yourself, after which you will get a Health ID.

Step 3: The complete information about the treatment and test will have to be digitally saved so that its record can be kept.

Step 4: When you go to any hospital or doctor for treatment, then you do not have to take all the prescriptions and test reports.

Step 5: The doctor will be able to sit from anywhere and see all the medical records through your unique ID.

Note: Registration on this will be voluntary.

Objectives of National Digital Health Mission 2023

The National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) aims to develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. It will bridge the existing gap amongst different stakeholders of Healthcare ecosystem through digital highways.

National Digital Health Mission: Five Pillars

Features of National Digital Health Mission Yojana: This scheme will be launched with four features. The first would be Health ID, Patient Health Records, Digi Doctor and Health Facility Registry. Later, the scheme will also cover e-pharmacy and telemedicine services. Guidelines are being made for this.

Health ID (HID) The Health ID will be used for the purposes of uniquely identifying persons, authenticating them, and threading their health records across multiple systems and stakeholders.
Patient Health Record (PHR) A PHR is an electronic record of health-related information on an individual that conforms to nationally recognized interoperability standards and that can be drawn from multiple sources while being managed, shared, and controlled by the individual.
Electronic medical record (EMR) web app An EMR is best understood as a digital version of a patient’s chart. It contains the patient’s medical and treatment history from a SINGLE health facility.
Digi Doctor Platform (Doctor’s Directory) The directory must be designed to be kept up-to-date as doctors gain skills via fellowships and map them to the facilities they are associated with.
Health Facility Registry The Health Facility Registry is a single repository of all the health facilities in the country.

NDHM Data Privacy and Safety Concerns

One official said, ‘NDHM scheme will be optional. This will strengthen the system. It will be 100 percent elective. But it is made or made in such a way that it is going to benefit a lot and we feel that no one will deny this plan. No one can view a person’s data without his approval. The government will also be involved in this.

Step to Apply Online PM Modi Health ID Card Application Form 2020

Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Digital Health Mission i.e. https://nha.gov.in/.

Step 2- On Homepage, Click on “Download NDHM ID App” Link or Download from Google Play Store and Install them.

Step 3- Open NDHM ID App and Click Registration Form page will displayed on mobile screen.

Step 4- Enter Your Name & Phone Number then Click on register button.

Step 5- Now Verify by OTP and fill further application form details.

Step 4- Now fill the required details (Mention all the details such as father/ husband name, date of birth, gender and other information) and upload documents.

Step 5- Click on Submit Button for final submission of application.

Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Digital Health Mission i.e. https://nha.gov.in/.

Step 2- On Homepage, you have to click on the link for Create Health ID .

Step 3- Next page, you will have to click on the link of Create Your Health ID Now .

Step 4- Now if you want to generate health ID through Aadhaar card, then you have to click on the link through generate Aadhaar card.

OR

If you want to generate health ID through mobile number, then you have to click on the link of generate via mobile.

Step 5- If you have selected an Aadhaar card, then you have to fill your Aadhaar number

OR

if you have selected your mobile number, then you will have to fill your mobile number.

Step 5- Now OTP will show on your notification center. You have to enter this OTP in the OTP box.

Step 6- In this next webpage, information asked will have to be filled carefully.

Step 7- Now you have to click on submit button.

Step 8- After clicking on the submit button, your health ID will be generated.

How to Login your Health ID Card through your Health ID Number?

Step 1- Visit the Official Website National Digital Health Mission i.e. https://nha.gov.in/.

Step 2- On Homepage, you have to click on the link for Create Health ID .

Step 3- Next page, you will have to click on the link of Login .

Step 4- Now, Health ID Login page displayed on the screen.

Step 6- In this next webpage, Login to your Health ID Homepage.

Step 2- On the Homepage, you have to click on the link for Register .

Step 3- Next page, Create your DigiDoctor ID linked to Aadhaar web page displayed on the screen.

Step 5- Now, you have selected an Aadhaar card, then you have to fill your Aadhaar number

Step 5- Now OTP will show on your notification center. You have to enter this OTP in the OTP box.

Step 6- In this next webpage, the information asked will have to be filled carefully.

Step 8- After clicking on the submit button, your DigiDoctor ID will be generated.
