Summary: The State Government of Madhya Pradesh introduced Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana on August 1, 2014 with an aim to spread an entrepreneurial culture among the youth of the state and to engage them in gainful employment. The Department of Commerce, Industry and Employment IS the nodal department to implement this scheme.
Loans ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 2 crore are provided under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana (MMMYUY), for which it is mandatory for the applicant to pass at least the 10th standard. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 40 years.
The scheme has priority for agro-based industries such as agro-processing, food processing, cold storage, milk processing, kettle feed, poultry feed, custom hiring centers, vegetable dehydration, tissue culture, pulses mill, rice mill, oil mill, floor Priority will be given to mills, bakeries, spice making, seed grading / shorting and other agro-based / ancillary projects.

Margin money assistance and loan repayment
- Margin money will be payable by the Government / Corporation to the beneficiary on the project cost of 15 percent (maximum Rs. 12 lakh) and the balance will have to be deposited by the Mirzamani beneficiary himself if necessary.
