Mukhyamantri Covid Pariwar Arthik Sahayata Yojana Online Registration Process

The Delhi government’s Social Welfare Department on Tuesday notified the Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Pariwar Aarthik Sahayata Yojana under which Rs 50,000 ex-gratia will be given to every family that has lost a member due to COVID-19 and an additional Rs 2,500 per month if the deceased was the sole breadwinner of the family. The beneficiaries of the scheme must be residents of Delhi. There is also no income criterion to apply for compensation under any of the components of this scheme.

Delhi Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Pariwar Arthik Sahayata Yojana Assistance: Total 6 categories

The scheme has been prepared for different categories and under which financial assistance of up to Rs 2500 will be given. The benefit of this scheme of the government will be available only to those people who have died due to corona and are residents of Delhi. Financial assistance will be given in total six categories. If the husband dies due to covid, then the wife, if the wife dies, then the husband. If both of them die of corona, then children and parents will get financial help.

How to get Scheme benefits?

To get financial help under this scheme, both the deceased and the beneficiary have to submit the residence certificate. The death certificate of the deceased due to Kovid will have to be submitted. Along with this, children will have to provide age related documents. There is also a condition in this that both the deceased and dependent should be from Delhi. Death must be confirmed as having died from COVID or death has occurred within one month of being found infected with the corona virus.

Details of Beneficiaries of Delhi Kovid-19 Family Financial Assistance Scheme

in case of death of husband

  • If a woman’s husband has died due to corona, then she will get a lifetime pension of Rs 2500 per month. Apart from this, if eligible, he will also be given a widow pension.

in case of death of wife

  • If a man’s wife has died, he will get a lifetime pension of Rs 2500.

In case of death of parent (single)

  • If there was only one parent to bring up the children in a family (in case of death or divorce of the other parent), then all his children will be given financial assistance of Rs 2500 per month till the age of 25 years. .

In case of death of both parents

  • If the husband and wife have died due to corona, then pension will be given to all the children till the age of 25, and to one of the parents of the deceased. If eligible, the parents will also be entitled to get old age pension.

In case of death of son or daughter

  • On the death of an unmarried but earning son or daughter, monthly financial assistance of Rs 2500 will be given to either of his parents. Apart from this, if eligible, the mother or father will also be entitled to get old-age pension.

In case of death of brother or sister

  • If someone’s brother or sister has died of corona and has any other brother or sister as a dependent, or is mentally handicapped, then they will also get monthly financial assistance of Rs 2500.

SCHEME OBJECTIVE
Delhi Government has launched the “Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Family Financial Assistance Scheme” to provide financial assistance to the families who have lost a member due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to those citizens of Delhi whose income earning member of the family has died due to coronavirus infection.
