Labour department will provide the assistance amount of Rs. 1,000 for boys and Rs. 1,200 to girls on monthly basis to labourer’s children. Students of class 8th, 9th, 10th will get an additional assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year. As per the initial reports, there would be conditional cash transfer for child labourers. Moreover, UP govt. will provide higher amount to girls to aid their studies and to keep them away from work.

  • उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के अनुसार, कामकाजी बच्चों की पहचान श्रम विभाग के अधिकारियों की ओर से सर्वेक्षण/निरीक्षण में चिन्हित बच्चे, ग्राम पंचायतों, स्थानीय निकायों के अधिशासी अधिकारी, चाइल्ड लाइन अथवा विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति द्वारा किया जाएगा.
  • माता या पिता अथवा दोनों किसी असाध्य रोग से ग्रसित हो, तो उनके बच्चों का चयन हो सकता है. इसके लिए गंभीर असाध्य रोग के संबंध में मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी/चिकित्साधिकारी की ओर से जारी प्रमाणपत्र देना होगा.
  • भूमिहीन परिवारों व महिला प्रमुख परिवारों के चयन के लिए 2011 की जनगणना के अंतर्गत सामाजिक आर्थिक जाति जनगणना की सूची का इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा.
  • प्रत्येक लाभार्थी के चयन की स्वीकृति के बाद उसे ई-ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम पर अपलोड किया जाएगा.

Beneficiary Guidelines

  • The child labor laborers of Uttar Pradesh will benefit from the scheme, who live in the selected 20 districts.
  • The benefit of the scheme will be given only to adolescent girls between 8 and 18 years.
  • Children who do not have parents, or if there is no one, is also eligible for the scheme.
  • If both parents of the children are differently abled, or either one is also eligible.
  • If the parents of the children are suffering from serious illness then they will also be eligible for the scheme.

  3. The government will identify children labourers who are orphan or whose parent is physically challenged and they are landless.
