Summary: The Pre-Matric, Post Matric and Merit cum Means based Scholarship Schemes are online Schemes and one can apply for fresh or renewal Scholarship under any of these Schemes on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.gov.in. Link to the Portal is also provided on the website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, i.e. www.minorityaffairs.gov.in. An online undertaking has to be submitted for registration on the NSP by applicants who are above the age of 18 years and by the parents/guardian if the applicant is below the age of 18 years.

Steps to Apply Online MOMA Application Form-

Step 1: Visit the Official Website MOMA Scholarship i.e. http://www.minorityaffairs.gov.in

Step 2: Go to the “schemes” option available in the menu bar.

Step 3: Click “scholarship scheme” option from the drop-down list.

Step 4: Scheme names appear, click apply online” option.

Step 5: A new web page appears, click register option.

Step 6: “Read the Guidelines” and Continue to register yourself.

Step 7: Enter a state, scholarship category, name, gender, bank details, contact details and choose identity option.

Step 8: Enter captcha code and click register option.

Step 9: Note Down the application ID and password

Step 10: Click on Login link and go though Application Page.

Step 11: Now enter all required details asked in application form.

Step 12: Upload the scanned documents in prescribed size and format.

Step 13: Finally, Submit the application after review.

Renewal Of Application

Procedure to Renewal Of MOMA Scholarship Application

Step 1: Visit the Official Website MOMA Scholarship i.e. http://www.minorityaffairs.gov.in

Step 2: Go to the “schemes” option available in the menu bar.

Step 3: Click “scholarship scheme” option from the drop-down list.

Step 4: Scheme names appear, click apply online” option.

Step 5: A new web page appears, click register option.

Step 6: Click “apply for renewal” option.

Step 7: Enter application id, password and captcha code.

Step 8: Click login option and fill the renewal form.

Step 9: Upload the scanned documents in prescribed size and format.

Step 10: Finally, Submit the application after review.

Procedure to Check Scheme-Wise Scholarship Sanction List

Step 1: Visit the Official Website MOMA Scholarship i.e. http://www.minorityaffairs.gov.in

Step 2: Go to the “schemes” option available in the menu bar.

Step 3: Click “scholarship scheme” option from the drop-down list.

Step 4: Scheme names appear, click apply online” option.

Step 5: A new web page appears, click register option.

Step 6: Click “Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List”.

Step 7: Enter the academic year, application type, ministry, scheme, state, district and captcha code.

Step 8: Click submit option and list will appear on the screen.

Important Documents

Required Documents to Apply MOMA
The following documents are required to be uploaded for Fresh applications under the Merit cum Means based Scholarship if the amount of Scholarship is more than Rs. 50,000/- per annum. Uploading of document is not necessary for applying under Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.

i. Student Photo.

ii. Verification Form to be provided by the Institution.

iii. Income Certificate

iv. A self certified Community Certificate from the applicant

v. upload self-attested Mark Sheet, secured not less than 50% marks

vi. Fee Receipt of ‘Current Course Year’.

vii. Bank Account number of the Student along with the IFSC Code of the bank branch.

viii. Residential/Domicile Certificate.

ix. Aadhaar number of the student.

x. Bonafide student certificate from School/Institute.

Document Type & Size: The format of the file should be.pdf and .jpeg and the size of each document should not exceed more than 200 kb.

Students belonging to six notified minority communities viz. Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi (Zoroastrian) studying in India only and fulfilling the Scheme guidelines are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Q.No.1. What should I do if I forget my ApplicationID?
Answer: The process of re-collection of the Application ID is given as below: “Student login-•>Forgot Registration Details?” then enter the basic fields accordingly and click on the button “Get Registration details”.

Q.No.2. How should I check the status of my application online?
Answer: You have to login under the option ‘Student Login’ by entering your Application Id and Password. Once login, you will be able to view the option ‘Check Your Status’. Under this option you can check your online status.

Q.No.3. How can I check whether the amount of my scholarship is credited in my bank account or not?
Answer: You may check the transaction status on PFMS portal i.e. www.pfms.nic.in under “Know Your Payment” (https://pfms.nic.in/static/NewLayoutCommonContent.aspx?RequestPagename=static/KnowYourPayment.aspx ) option on the home page.

Q.No.4. What should I do if I face some technical issue while applying for scholarship on NSP portal.
Answer: You can immediately register your complain through the link https://scholarships.gov.in/fresh/complaintspage or accessing Complaints -> Register Complaints on the home page of the NSP website or call on the Helpline number 0120-6619540 or send mail on e-mail id: helpdesk@nsp.gov.in.

Answer: The winners of these national minority scholarships receive a scholarship amount of up to Rs. 20,000 per annum.

Hello sir , sir , mai bahut hi poor family se bilong karti hu mere father ek chaye ka thela lagate hai jisse hamari padhai nhi ho pa rahi hai mujhe UPSC karna hai par hamari arthik halat aise nahi hai jo mai kar saku agar aap hamari help kare to bahut sukrgujar rahenge ham mere do chote bhai bahan bhi hai agar Maine kuch kar liya to mere bhai bahan bhi ek achi life ji sakegi so please help me
