Himachal Pradesh Medha Protsahan Yojana Online Registration Process

Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department has invited applications from meritorious students preparing for competitive exams under Medha Protsahan scheme. Under the Medha Protsahan Yojana Himachal Pradesh, the state govt will provide financial assistance up to Rs. 1 Lakh for the coaching of competitive examinations.  Students can fill HP Medha Protsahan Yojana online application form at educationhp.org. Students would be able to prepare for entrance examinations like civil services exams which would further generate employment opportunities.

Interested and eligible students for sending benefits under this scheme can send their application by post to the office of Director of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-171001 or by e-mail medha.protsahan@gov.in by the stipulated date. Huh.

Himachal Pradesh Medha Protsahan Yojana Eligibility Criteria

Beneficiary Guidelines
  • The Applicants should be permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh.
  • The candidates selected are required to attend all classes in the institute.
  • Candidates must scored at least 75% marks (65% SC/ ST/ OBC/ IRDP/ BPL) in case of 12th passed and 50% marks (45% marks SC/ ST) in graduation.
  • Applicants’ family income should not more than 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees per annum.
  • Only the beneficiaries who will be named in the merit list will be given the benefit of the scheme.
  • You must belong to Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Other Backward Classes.
  • Your family must be a BPL Ration Card holder.

ABOUT SCHEME
Himachal Pradesh Medha Protsahan Yojana 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – To prepare for competitive examinations, the state government will provide a help of Rs one lakh to the meritorious students. The Directorate of Higher Education has extended the date of application to 15 January 2020 to apply for the Medha Protsahan Yojana. Eligible students will have to apply to the Directorate of Education. Director of Higher Education, 350 students undergraduate and 150 students doing post-graduation will be given financial assistance to take coaching for competitive examinations. The total income of the candidate’s family should not be more than twice the income of 2.50 lakhs per annum/poverty line. Students selected under this scheme will be provided financial assistance up to a maximum of Rs 1 lakh in their lifetime.

These applications have been invited from candidates taking coaching from institutions identified by Higher Education Department within the state or other states preparing for CLAT/ NEET/ IIT/ AIIMS/ AFMC/ NDA etc. and UPSC/ SSC/ Banking and Insurance, Railways etc. entrance exam.

Medha Protsahan Yojana 2022 Merit List

Under the Himachal Pradesh Medha Protsahan Yojana 2022 , the general class students studying in Intermediate class should have secured at least 75 percent marks in 10 +1 class and SC, ST, OBC, IRDP, BPL etc. to get at least 65 percent marks in 10 +1 class.

Under this scheme, in case of students who have passed intermediate class, students of general category should have 75% marks and 65% marks of reserved class students. The percentage of marks of the general class students of graduation level should be 50 and the percentage of marks of reserved class students should be 45 percent.
