The Kerala government has launched Kerala Swasraya Scheme 2022 to provide financial assistance to parents of physically challenged and mentally challenged persons. Under Kerala Swasraya Scheme the government of the Kerala social justice Department is going to provide Rs. 35000 financial assistance as one-time assistance to the mother of mentally retarded person so that they would be able to perform their day-to-day activities without depending on others.

All Eligible Applicants who want to apply to this scheme then read all instructions carefully and follow the given below steps to apply online application form:

Procedure to Apply Online Kerala Swasraya Scheme Application Form 2022

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Kerala Swasraya Scheme under Social justice Department, Kerala i.e. swd.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option ” schemes” links.

Step 3- After that, you have to click on Swasraya scheme for parents/mothers of PH/MR persons

Step 4- After that, you have to click on the application form for the Swasraya scheme for parents (a single mother) of PH/MR persons

Step 5- The Kerala Swasraya Scheme application Form PDF page will be displayed on the screen. You have to download this application form and take a printout of it

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as your name, address, mobile number and other information) and attach all the required documents.

Step 5- The applicants must submit the duly filled applications along with supporting documents to the concerned District Social Justice Officers. Upon subsequent verification of filled-in application form along with documents, the concerned officer will approve your form. All the applicant parents/mothers of PH / MR persons will then get one-time financial assistance under Swasraya Scheme directly into their bank accounts.

Step 4- On this page, go to the “Target Group” section and click at the “Beneficiary Details” link in front of differently-abled. In the new window, the Kerala Swasraya Scheme list of beneficiaries will appear on the screen.

Step 5- All those parents/mothers who want to check their name in the opened list can even select the financial year and district name to narrow the search in the Swasraya Scheme district wise list of beneficiaries.

Kerala Swasraya Scheme Eligibility Criteria

Beneficiary Guidelines
  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
  • Applicant must be from the BPL family.
  • Parents (mothers) with children having 70% or more disability / mental retardation.
  • Mothers of severely disabled/mentally challenged bed-ridden patients will be given priority.
  • Single/Unwed mothers/Wives abandoned by husbands/Legally divorced women/Separated women are eligible to apply under this scheme.
  • Close relatives (women- as mentioned in the above category) who act as caretakers of severely disabled/mentally challenged patients can also apply.
  • Application along with detailed project report about the self-employment has to be submitted to the concerned District Social Justice Officers.
  • Beneficiaries of the Aswasakiranam scheme can also submit applications.
