Procedure for getting Life certificate Offline

Step 1- First of all, you have to go to your nearest CSC center or office of PDA

Step 2- To find the nearest CSC center you have to click on the link given here – Locate a Centre.

Step 3- Now you have to select your search category.

Step 4- After this, you have to enter the information asked.

Step 5- Details of your nearest CSC center will be on your screen.

Step 6- You have to go to the CSC center.

Step 7- He/She provides the required information to the operator. The operator feeds/enters this information into the system i.e JeevanPramaan Application

Step 8- The pensioner has to then provide his/her biometrics by placing his/her finger on the fingerprint scanner or eye in front of the Iris scanner.

Step 9- On successful Aadhaar based biometric authentication, JeevanPramaan is generated with a unique id called Pramaan Id.

Step 10- An acknowledgment message quoting the Pramaan Id is sent as an SMS to the mobile number provided by the pensioner.

Note – The JeevanPramaan/DLC thus generated is subject to the approval of the Pension Sanctioning/Disbursing Authority as provided by the pensioner.

How to generating Life Certificate/ID online?

Retired employees can use this Pramaan ID to login to your Jeevan Pramaan account, which is required for generating the Life Certificate or Jeevan Pramaan Patra online by logging in at jeevanpramaan.gov.in. Here is step by step guide for retired government employees for generating Life Certificate online:

Step 1- Login to your Jeevan Pramaan app by entering your Pramaan ID and OTP;

Step 2- Select the Generate Jeevan Pramaan option;

Step 3- Enter the Aadhaar number and mobile number and click on Generate OTP;

Step 4- An OTP is sent to the mobile number. Enter the OTP in the space provided;

Step 5- Enter details such as PPO Number, Name, name of the disbursing agency etc.;

Step 6- Select the no objection option and scan your fingerprint/iris;

Step 7- The biometric input is authenticated using the Aadhaar data;

Step 8- The Jeevan Pramaan is displayed on the screen after successful authentication; and

Step 9- A confirmation message is sent to the pensioner’s mobile number containing the Jeevan Pramaan Certificate ID.

• A PDA has to login to the registered account at the Jeevan Pramaan website.
• Jeevan Pramaan of the pensioner can be downloaded by entering the Pramaan ID
• The PDA can view/download the Jeevan Pramaan only when it is shared by the pensioner
• If not registered, a PDA cannot access the Digital Life Certificate of the pensioner
