Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ‘Jan Samarth Portal’ for credit-linked government schemes. This will make it easier to take a loan under the government scheme. Online applications can be made from this portal for taking loans under 13 government schemes. At present, there are 4 loan categories and several government schemes are linked under each loan category. From loan application to its approval, everything will be done online through Jan Samarth Portal. Applicants will also be able to check their loan status in the portal.
