Indian Navy MR 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should satisfy following criteria in order to be eligible for Indian Navy MR Oct 2020 batch.

• Educational qualification: Class 10 / Matriculation passed.
• Marital status: Unmarried.
• Gender: Only male candidates can apply.
• Age Limit: Born between 01 Oct 2000 to 30 Sep 2003 (Both dates inclusive).

Computer- based Examination

• The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) andcomputer-based objective type (multiple-choice).
• The question paper will be of total of 50 questions, each carrying 01 mark.
• The question paper will comprise of two sections i.e. Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge
• The standard of the question paper will be that of class 10th and the syllabus & sample paper for the examination is available on website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
• Duration of examination will be 30 minutes.
• The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate. The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.
• Penalty for Wrong Answer. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the question paper.
• There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the
• marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Physical Fitness Test

This is qualifying in nature. Indian Navy MR 2020 PFT consists of following

• 1.6 Km run in 7 minutes
• 20 squat ups
• 10 push ups

It is desirable to have proficiency in sports, swimming, extra curricular activities.

Medical Standards

Authorized military doctors will perform medical standards test for Indian Navy MR 2020. Candidates will have to clear all requirements applicable to Indian Navy Sailors Entry.

• Minimum height should be 157 cms.
• Chest and weight should be proportional. Minimum chest expansion should be 5 cms.
• Candidate should be in good health physically as well as mentally. There should be no such defect that would affect performance of duties ashore and afloat, and
• also in war conditions as per Navy Order (Special) 01/2008.
• First there will be a preliminary medical exam. then final enrolment medical exam will be at INS Chilka. If anyone is found medically unfit and they want to appeal, they can do so within 21 days to INHS Kalyani, Visakhapatnam.
• Ears should be cleaned for wax.

Tattoos: Only allowed on inner face of forearms.

• Click on apply online (although it is apply online link, it leads to login page too).
• Enter email address and password, then click log in button.
• Once you reach your candidate dashboard, click on application status.
• If you have filled other Indian Navy recruitment forms also, then you will see two tabs – pending and completed. Click on completed.
  Locate and click on link that says Click here to download MR Admit Card.
• Enter application number and date of birth.
• As soon as you sign in here, your admit card gets downloaded.

If the candidate forget their password, then they have to click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the login page. Then they can enter the following information to get the password on their registered email ID:

• User ID/Registration Number
• Seven characters shown in a box

What are the documents to be carried along with the Indian Navy MR Exam 2019 Admit Card 2019?

Candidates without Indian Navy MR Admit Card and valid ID Proof will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Candidates should carry the following documents to the exam hall.

• Print out of valid Indian Navy MR Exam 2019 Admit Card
• Any 1 of the following government ID proof in original:
