Under this campaign, the Prime Minister has appealed to all the citizens of the country to hoist the tricolor in their respective homes from August 13 to 15.

The postal department, under the Ministry of Communication, is offering for sale India’s National Flag online via its e-portal service. The price of a flag (20 inches x 30 inches in size without a flagpole) is Rs 25 per piece (without Goods and Services Tax). While the customer shall order and make payment on the portal, flags shall be delivered from the nearest post office where flags are available. The sale of tricolor has also been started from August 1, 2022. You can buy the flag by logging on to the official website of the post office www.epostoffice.gov.in . Before Independence Day, the tricolor will be delivered to your home through the post office.

Step 1: First, You need to visit the official website of Post office i.e. epostoffice.gov.in and login through user id and password.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the product option.
Step 3: Now, select the National Flag option.
Step 4: Add to cart and Specify the delivery address, the number of Flags to be purchased (a maximum of 5 Flags per customer at first) and your mobile phone number
Step 5: The latest flag code will be prompted to you during the purchasing process
