2nd Level Qualification Criteria

Level 2 of IMO is conducted only for level 1 meritorious students of class 3 to class 12. The students who come under either of the following 3 categories are eligible for IMO Level 2 exam.

1. Top 5% students of each class in level 1 exam
2. Top 25 rank holders of all classes from each zone in level 1 exam
3. Every participating school’s class topper with more than 50% qualifying marks, provided that atleast 10 students from a class appear for level 1 exam.

Students can check the result online or obtain it from their respective schools along with the Student Performance Report. The steps to check the result online is given below:

• Scores of SOF Result 2022 will appear on the screen

• Save and take a printout for future reference.

SOF Conducts six olympiads exams which are listed below-

• National Cyber Olympiad (NCO)
• National Science Olympiad (NSO)
• International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)
• International English Olympiad (IEO)
• International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO)
• International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)

The candidates will find a number of details mentioned on their result page. IMO Result 2022-2022 will be displayed in the format given below.

Criteria 1: All the students from each class who will secure the top 5% rank in the first level of NSO.

Criteria 2: The top 25 ranks from each class in each zone are considered.

Criteria 3: From all the participating schools, class topper from each class who achieved 50% marks in the level 1 exam. At least 10 students have to appear in the examination. If the registration is done section-wise, then irrespective of the section, students who will score the highest marks will be eligible for the NSO level II exam.

There are a total of 21 zones from which the students are participating and below we have given the list of each zone from which the SOF will determine:

The zone topper who qualifies for second-level exams and they will be awarded for performance in their 2^nd level exams according to their zones.

North Zone: –

• Delhi Uttar Pradesh/ Uttarakhand
• Punjab/ Chandigarh
• Rajasthan
• Himachal Pradesh/ Jammu & Kashmir/ Ladakh
• Haryana

East zone: –

• West Bengal/ Andaman & Nicobar
• Chhattisgarh
• Jharkhand
• Odisha
• North-East (Assam/ Arunachal Pradesh/ Tripura/ Sikkim/ Meghalaya/ Mizoram/ Manipur/ Nagaland)

West zone: –

• Maharashtra/ Goa
• Gujarat/ Daman & Diu/ Dadra & Nagar Haveli
• Madhya Pradesh

South Zone: –

• Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana
• Karnataka
• Tamil Nadu/ Puducherry
• Kerala
• Lakshadweep

International Zone: –

• All countries other than India

Students will receive a specific award or price based on the scores obtained in the SOF result 2022.

• Each student will get a Participation Certificate.

• Merit Certificate to 2nd level participants

• Class 1 and 2 SOF winners will be awarded after the Level 1 exam. There will not be any level 2 exam for these classes.

• Winners will be given International/Zonal Topper Awards

IMO Result December 2022 is declared on 15 January 2022.

Candidates, who had appeared for the examination, can check their score with the help of registration number and date of birth once the results are released.

NSO Exam is 2 Levels Exam. Level 1 qualifiers will be called to appear for the Level 2 Exam on Feb 2022.
