Haryana Government has launched Livestock Insurance Scheme by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar. Under this scheme, animals will be insured and under this scheme, this insurance of animals will be valid for 3 years. Objectives of Haryana Pashudhan Bima Yojana 2022

SCHEME OBJECTIVE

The Department of Animal Husbandry and Milk has targeted to cover one lakh cattle in the state of Haryana under this Pashudhan Bima Yojana. Insurance covers provide protection from the financial loss of Indian villagers in the event of the death of villagers, which is the most important asset of the rural community. 10 lakh cattle will be insured in Haryana within the next one year from April 2019 under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Collective Pashudhan Bima Yojana’ of the Central-Government of India through the National Live Stock Mission, after which The state will become the state to provide health and life protection to the maximum number of cattle in the entire country. Along with the department, the trend of cattle rearing can also be increased by the fact that so far one lakh cattle have been insured in just two and a half months.

Under this scheme, the state has a target of insuring 10 lakh animals, in which the beneficiary has an insurance premium of Rs.100 / – for each big animal and Rs.25 / – per annum for each small animal will have to give.
