Summary: Former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal formed a government in the state after the war in 1987, he started a monthly pension of 100 rupees for the elderly above 65 years. On 17 June 1987, for the first time, a monthly pension of Rs 100 was paid to the elderly above 65 years of age. After this, the age for pension was reduced from 65 to 60 years in July 1, 1991 under Congress rule.

The Haryana Old Age Pension has been launched by the state government to provide financial assistance to the elderly. Under this scheme, a monthly pension of 1800 rupees to the elderly citizens of 60 years of age or older of the state is provided by the Government of Haryana (A monthly pension of 1800 rupees to the citizens, provided by the Government of Haryana).

Haryana Old Age Pension Online Registration Process

To apply Old Age Pension proof of age provided by Health department/ age proof provided by school/ driving license/ passport etc with the application form. The certificate cited above should be issued ten years back from the date of application. If any applicant is not having the above-stated certificates then he have to produce the age certificate of his son/daughter with minimum 41 years issued by the authority stated above. Voter card if attached as age proof will be verified from the online election data from o/o DSWO, Hisar.

Applicant have to submit the application in the o/o concerned BDPO/MC office after uploading the same from Common Service Centre situated at each and every panchayat/BDPO office MC office. All the unmarried/issueless applicants can visit to Civil Hospital on the 25th of every month against the Medical board. If 25th is the holiday, then he/she can visit on next working day.

The annual income of the applicant and his/her family should be less than or equal to Rs two Lacs through all sources.

Procedure to Apply Online Haryana Old Age Pension Application Form

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Haryana Old Age Pension i.e. pension.socialjusticehry.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply online for pension schemes” button.

Step 3- The application Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- Take printout of the application form and fill all the details mentioned on the form ( आवेदन पत्र का प्रिंट लें और फॉर्म पर उल्लिखित सभी विवरण भरें । )

Step 5- Filled form should be signed by authorized authority ( Sarpanch/ MC/ Numberdar)
(पूरी तरह से भरे हुए आवेदन फॉर्म को अधिकृत प्राधिकारी (सरपंच / एमसी / नंबरदार) द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित किया जाना चाहिए । )

Step 6- Scan the fully filled and signed application form (File size should be upto 1 MB in PDF format)

Step 7- Also scan the personal identity documents such as Aadhaar card, Haryana residence certificate etc. before online apply.(File size should be upto 1 MB in PDF format)

Step 8- Create login ID on saral website.

Step 9- After successfully login, click on apply for services

Step 10- Search for Citizen Registration and Fill the Citizen Registration form with required parameters and get CIRD ID

Step 11- After CIDR Registration Search “Department Social Justice & Empowerment” and select the services like Old Age Samman Allowance

Step 12- To fill the pension form enter the CIDR ID, name of applicant and aadhaar number and click on search

Haryana Old Age Pension : Online Application Form PDF Download – The old age pension scheme was started in 1987 by the former Deputy Prime Minister late Chaudhary Devi Lal. At present, the total number of beneficiaries under the Social Welfare Department, including old age honor allowance, widow, Divyang, Ladli scheme, is 189585. The government is providing financial assistance of Rs 2250 per month to these beneficiaries. Last year, the old age pension was increased by Rs 250, now after increasing it again by Rs 250, the pension of the elderly has reached Rs 2500.

Haryana Old Age Samman Allowances: Haryana Vridhavastha Pension Yojana

This is a State scheme under which senior citizens of Haryana domicile in the age group of 60 years and above are given Old Age Samman Allowance as per eligibility criteria laid down in the rules of the scheme.

Beneficiary:

i) The person is of age 60 years or more. ii) The person is domicile and resident of Haryana State; and his/her income from all sources together with that of his/her spouse does not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 per annum.

Benefits:

Haryana Budget 2023: Old Age Pension Updates

Haryana Government has presented a budget of Rs 1,55,645 crore for this time. A budget proposal of 13 percent higher than the budget of the previous year has been introduced. 25 percent of the budget will be capital expenditure and 75 percent revenue expenditure. The government has increased the old age pension by Rs 250. Now this pension has been increased to Rs 2,500. This increase will come into effect from April 1.

  • Under the Old Age Pension Scheme Haryana to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1800 per month to the elderly aged 60 years or more in the state.
  • Any person receiving pension from any Government or Local/ Statutory Body or any organization substantially financed by any Government or Local/ Statutory Body will not be eligible to receive allowance under the scheme.
  • This time the Haryana government may decide to increase the old-age pension at the same time by Rs 850 per month in the budget.
