The government initiated the solar portal to benefit the residents by setting up solar rooftops (RTS) with subsidies. The Goa Energy Development Agency developed the portal with the assistance of the Department of New and Renewable Energy and the Electricity Department. Goa Solar Portal Eligibility Criteria
Beneficiary Eligibility Criteria:
- Consumers with a capacity of up to 90 kilowatts will be eligible for a 50% subsidy, with both central and state governments contributing.
