Food Safety Mitra Scheme Online Registration Process

Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has started Food Safety Mitra (FSM) Scheme 2022 to improve ease of doing business. Now people can apply online to become either Digital Mitra or Hygiene Mitra or Trainer Mitra. The FSM Scheme 2022 online registration process has already started at the official website fssai.gov.in/mitra/. Procedure to Apply Online Food Safety Mitra Scheme Application Form 2021

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of the Food Safety Mitra Scheme i.e. fssai.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply Online” button.

Step 3- The application Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as personal details, qualification details, contact details etc.)

Step 5- After filling the form, read the terms and conditions carefully and click on the “Agree” button.

Step 6- Click on the “Register Yourself” button to complete the registration process.

Note: After successful registration takes a print out of the Application form for future reference.

Food Safety Mitra Scheme Eligibility Criteria

Beneficiary Guidelines

The applicant should have completed at least graduation from a recognized university, they must have its degree. They must have complete knowledge of computers and the internet. The age of the applicant should be between 21 to 60 years. The application must have completed the 10th and 12th examinations from a recognized school.

Digital Mitra

Candidates between the age of 21 to 60 years, possessing bachelor’s degree from a recognised university along with working knowledge of computers, internet etc.are eligible to apply.

Trainer Mitra

Eligibility criteria for trainers as under FoSTaC scheme will be applicable.

Hygiene Mitra:

Candidates between the age of 21 to 60 years, possessing bachelor’s degree in Catering Technology I Hotel Management I Food /Dairy/ Fisheries/ Oil Technology/ Bio-Technology,/ Agricultural Sciences/ Veterinary Sciences I Biochemistry/ Microbiology from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

ABOUT SCHEME

Food Safety Mitra Scheme 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – Food Safety Mitra (FSMs) Scheme was launched by FSSAI on 16 October 2019 to strengthen food safety administration. FSM scheme will support small and medium scale food businesses in accordance to the food safety law. This would be done by facilitating licensing and registration, hygiene ratings and training. The Food Safety Mitra scheme aims to support small and medium-scale food businesses so as to comply with the food safety laws and will facilitate them with the licensing and registration process, hygiene ratings and training programme. Category of Food Safety Mitra Scheme Food friends will be made in 3 categories by the Central Ministry so that the inspection of food can be done in a better way. There are 3 categories – digital friend trainer friend cleanliness friend

This initiative is being started by the Central Food Safety and Standards Officer of India, so that by inspecting the quality of the food received by the government schools and government organizations, they can provide better food so that their health remains good.

SCHEME FEATURES

The Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare launched the Food Safety Mitra (FSM) scheme to mark the occasion of World Food Day. Along with this, the Union Minister also launched “Eat Right Jacket” and “Eat Right Jhola” scheme on World Food Day 2019 . The scheme will support small and medium scale food businesses in compliance to the food safety laws. The theme for the day was ‘Healthy Diets for a Zero Hunger World’. The FSMs would undergo training and certification that will be conducted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), in order to get paid by food businesses for their services. The scheme would also create new employment opportunities for youth (particularly with food and nutrition background). Food Safety Mitra will be an individual professionally trained and certified by FSSAI who assists in compliances related to FSS Act, Rules & Regulations.  The scheme will lead to improved ease of doing business by creating a transparent and organized ecosystem supporting food businesses wherein food businesses will be able to get trained service providers at fair prices – lowering the costs of compliance.
