दिल्ली में रहने वाले वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थयात्रा योजना इसी महीने जून से शुरू होने जा रही है। इसके तहत जून के तीसरे सप्ताह में करीब 1,000 बुजुर्गों को तीर्थयात्रा पर ले जाया जाएगा। पहली यात्रा अमृतसर-बाघा-आनंदपुर साहिब की होगी। योजना के अंतर्गत सरकार 77,000 वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को मुफ्त में तीर्थाटन कराएगी। जो 3 दिन और 2 रात की होगी।

Summary: The Government of Delhi, under the leadership of Honorable Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, has formulated a special scheme called “Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Yojana”. Under this scheme, the government is providing an opportunity to a citizen of Delhi who is unable to go on a pilgrimage for their own spent money.

So that free pilgrimage can be started to 1,100 senior citizens of each community in Delhi. Under the Delhi Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme, the state government will benefit 77,000 pilgrims from this facility every year and the entire cost will be borne by the government.

Step to Apply Online Mukhymantri Tirth Yatra Yojana Application Form 2023

Step 1- Visit the Official Website Mukhymantri Tirth Yatra Yojana i.e. https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/.

Step 2- On Homepage, Click on “New User” from the ” Registration in e-District Delhi ” section

Step 3- Select ” Aadhaar Card ” or “Voter Card” there and enter the document number.

Step 4- “Click on to Continue” Options and registration form appear.

Step 5- Enter the remaining information in the form and upload the scanned image.

Step 6- Submit the application form and remember the registration ID and password

Step 7- Now login to the site and apply for mukhymantri tirth yatra yojana.

• Application in the prescribed Form along with Self Declaration.
• Self-Attested copy ofMedical certificate mentioning the applicant/Spouse is mentally/physically fit to undertake the proposed journey.
• Self-Attested Copies of Delhi Voter ID Card.(For Applicant/Spouse).
• Self Declaration.
• Copy of Certificate from MLA for residence of his/her constituency or any Minister from GNCT of Delhi or Chairman , Tirath Yaatra Vikas Samiti GNCT of Delhi.
• Documents to be attached with the Application Form : Voter Id card of the Applicant, Spouse and Attendant

One Passport size Coloured Photograph of the applicant (Size 5cm x 4.5cm Or 2”x1.75”)

Beneficiary Guidelines

⇒The applicant/spouse must be a resident of the territorial jurisdiction of NCT of Delhi.
⇒ The applicant must have completed 60 years of age (As on 1st January of the year in which the Application for availing the
Yojana is submitted)
⇒ The applicant/spouse must NOT be employed with Central/State Government or Local/Autonomous bodies.
⇒ The applicant/spouse must NOT have ever availed the scheme in the past.
⇒ The age of the attendant must be more than 21 years(In case opting for attendant)

There are 70 assembly constituencies in Delhi, and Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana will benefit 1,100 senior citizens from every assembly constituency.

Key Features of Scheme

Scheme Feature

• AC buses will be used to provide all kinds of facilities to senior citizens. Even Delhi government will arrange 3 meals and breakfast.
• Senior citizens availing this scheme will be shown darshan of selected pilgrimage centers in a period of 3 days and 2 nights.
• To make the implementation process more effective, the government will provide benefits to more than 77,000 senior citizens every year, who will be selected by lucky draw.
• Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, Delhi Government has approved a total of Rs 4,155 crore for Social Security and Welfare. This approved amount is about 8 percent of the total budget of Rs 53,000 crore for the 2018-19 financial year.

Mukhymantri Tirth Yatra Yojana 2023 Application Form

Applicant should be a permanent resident of Delhi. To avail the pilgrimage scheme, the age is 60 years or more. An assistant of 18 years or older can accompany a senior citizen on a pilgrimage. Government officials and employees cannot participate in the pilgrimage scheme. A senior citizen can avail the pilgrimage scheme only once in his life. The annual income of an elderly citizen should be less than Rs 3 lakh. Under this scheme, insurance of one lakh rupees will also be done for every elderly pilgrim.

Objectives of Mukhymantri Tirth Yatra Yojana 2023

• In case it is found that any applicant/spouse has ever availed the MukhyamantriTirthYatra scheme in the past, he/she will be
  liable to repay the entire amount incurred for the yatra along with a penalty of 25%.
• Applicant/Spouse above 60 years of age will have a choice to take one attendant with him provided the age of attended must
  be above 21 years of age.
• Incase travelling with spouse, the facility of only one attendant will be available.
• Incase applicants won’t be able to undertake the pilgrimage, he/she has to provide intimation upto the 07 days before the travel date. Otherwise, he/she shall not be eligible to apply under this scheme again
• The Yatris will not be allowed to take or use any inflammable material or liquor or any intoxicating articles
• Yatris will be fully responsible for his/her jewellary and belongings during the yatra.
• Yatris are expected to behave in a civilized manner as per the requirements of the TirthYatra.
• Yatris are required to follow the instructions of the Liason Officer.
• The Government or the TirthYatra Vikas Samiti will not be responsible for any accident or mis-happening during the journey.
