Delhi Ladli Yojana Online Registration Process

The Delhi government started the Ladli scheme from the year 2008. Under the scheme, the girls get financial assistance ranging from Rs 35000 to Rs 36000 at various stages for their birth and for studying up to class 12 from the Delhi government. In the Ladli scheme, the amount received by the girls from the Delhi government goes to their bank account.

For district office

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Delhi Ladli Yojana under the Department of Women and Child Development i.e. www.wcddel.in.

The process to apply in schools

Step 1- First Delhi Ladli in Incharge will provide complete information related to this scheme.

Step 2- After this, applications will be distributed to all the interested beneficiaries by the Ladli in-charge.

Step 3- Interested beneficiaries will have to fill the application form and attach all the important documents to the in-charge.

Step 4- Now the principal of the school will be impersonated by the Ladli in-charge.

Step 4- These applications will be scrutinized by the school principal.

Maturity Claim Procedure: How to claim Ladli Scheme amount?

1. The girls registered under the scheme shall file maturity claim after passing 10th standard if they are 18 yrs old or have passed 12th standard.
2. Students are required to submit an application along with the acknowledgement letter received from SBIL; residential address; mark sheet of 10th or 12th (whichever is applicable); copy of the Bank Passbook showing the account number; mobile/landline number.
3. Beneficiary girls are required to open a ZERO BALANCE SAVING ACCOUNT with the State Bank of India by showing the acknowledgement letter received from the bank.
4. Prior to this stage, money is transferred to the Unique ID number of the beneficiary girl child, allotted by the State Bank of India.

(SBIL) is the Fund Manager of the scheme. Financial Assistance under this scheme is restricted up to two girl children only in a family. The amount disbursed to them at the end of the lock-in-period will vary depending on the stage at which each girl child enters the scheme and registers under it. The applicant family has been living in Delhi for at least 3 years before filing the application for the Ladli scheme. The annual income of the child’s family should not exceed 1 lakh rupees. The girl should have been born in Delhi itself. The benefit of the Ladli scheme is limited to two girls in the family. The school in which the child studies must be recognized by the Government of Delhi. *Under the Scheme financial assistance is provided in the form of term deposits – Rs. 11,000/- if born in hospital or Rs. 10,000/- if born at home at the time of registration and Rs.5,000/- each in further five milestones i.e., Class I, VI, IX, XI & XII.
