Delhi e-district Portal Online Registration Process

e-District Delhi Portal is an initiative of the Delhi Government to facilitate online delivery of services to citizens in a time-bound and hassle-free manner. The residents of India’s capital may now avail the gamut of services and certificates provided by the Government through digital means, thanks to the launch of the e-District portal. The state government has created the Delhi e-district portal for the common citizens to make the welfare schemes and services run by the government accessible to the common people. Now anyone can apply for any government scheme or service sitting at home. 

All Eligible Applicants who want to apply to this scheme then read all instructions carefully and follow the given below steps to apply online application form:

Procedure to Delhi e-district Portal Online Regsitration 2022

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Delhi e-district Portal i.e. edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, you have to click on the option of “ New User ” in the menu. After that, a new page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3- The application Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- On this page, you can see the Citizen Registration Form. In which you have to choose your document type and then fill the ID of your selected document.

Step 5- Finally, fill the code given on the screen carefully and then press the continue button and the registration form will open on your computer screen.

Step 6- Fill in the information asked in this form like name, father’s name, date of birth etc. and then enter the access code and password sent to your mobile number. 

Step 7- After filling out the complete form submit it by pressing the Continue to Register button. Once submitted, a registration acknowledgment will appear on your screen. You can also download and save it.

Step 8- Apart from this, your user ID and password will also be sent to your mobile number, so that you can log in to the portal.

  • On this page, you can see the Citizen Login Form, in which you will have to fill in your username and password.

How to Download or Print Certificate Online

  • First of all you have to go to the official website of e-district Delhi. After this the home page of the website will be displayed on the screen.
  • On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option “ Print/Download Certificate ” in the menu. After that, a new page will be displayed on the screen.
  • In the form given here, you have to fill your department, application number, date of birth etc. And after filling all the information press the Continue button.

Guidelines for Online Registration:-

  • A valid mobile number is mandatory for online registration.
  • Incorrect information or incomplete form may result in the cancellation of registration.
  • After registration, the access code and password will be sent to the mobile number given in the registration form.
  • The registration needs to be completed within 72 hours by logging into the website of e-District Delhi with the help of access code and password otherwise the registration will not be completed and citizens are required to provide the registration details.
  • If you do not have an Aadhar Number or Voter ID Card, please apply through Offline at any counter in Tehsil / Sub-Divisional Office.

Eligibility for OBC Certificate

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Any paternal relative like father/uncle should have already issued OBC certificate.
  • A person who is a permanent resident of Delhi on or before 8th September 1993 can apply for OBC certificate through this portal.
  • If the applicant has applied for a notified caste in the Government of NCT of Delhi, he can still get this certificate.
  • Applicants who are not covered under the creamy layer category as specified by the Government of India from time to time.
  • Anyone who does not belong to OBC category cannot claim for it even after marriage.
