Vaccination of those who have registered for preference will start on the state government’s website Kovid-19 Jagratha (https: //covid19.kerala.gov.in/vaccine/). The initial step is to get registered in the CoWIN portal. Next is to get registered in the Kerala COVID 19 website, which is only a booking site to streamline the process.
Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Kerala Government Covid 19 Vaccine Registration i.e. covid19.kerala.gov.in.
Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on Request for INDIVIDUALS, FRONTLINE WORKERS (BULK) & VACCINE CERTIFICATE (FOR GOING ABROAD)
Step 3- Register your mobile number and enter the OTP sent to your number.
Step 4- After OTP verification, you will be redirected to the vaccination request form.
Step 5- One has to fill all the details asked and submit a certificate from a medical practitioner mentioning which comorbidity the applicant has.
Step 6- The prescribed format for the certificate is given in the same Kerala website.
Step 7- While registering in the Kerala website, CoWIN reference number must be entered in the request form.
Step 8- District health authorities shall process the submitted request and once your slot is scheduled, you will get an SMS regarding vaccination date and venue details.
Note: This is only a booking site to streamline the process in vaccination disbursement in Kerala. Citizens are requested to register in http://cowin.gov.in which is mandatory for the vaccination to be allotted. Only residents of Kerala will get approval for vaccination through this portal. The information furnished if found bogus will be summarily rejected. This registration is meant for individuals of the category Comorbid or Persons going abroad in the age group between 18 to 44 years.

Here’s how to apply for the certificate in Kerala
Step 1- Eligible beneficiaries above 18 have to log on to https://covid19.kerala.gov.in/vaccine/ said the state government notification
Next, they have to click on the “Vaccine Certificate(For Going Abroad)” tab
Step 2- A pop-up window will appear saying that the certificate is not a replacement of the certificate issued by the Government of India in their CoWIN app. Beneficiaries who have taken both the doses of vaccination and have not given their passport number as identity number while registering in CoWIN portal are eligible to apply.
Step 3- Next candidates need to submit CoWIN registered Mobile No and Beneficiary ID.
The user will be taken to a page where he has to provide details like beneficiary name as in the CoWIN app, date of birth, vaccination certificate issued by the government of India, ID proof in CoWIN, passport No and Visa/ Work Permit/employment Permit/Admission Letter.
Step 4- The application will be verified by the concerned District Medical Officer/ Officer designated by DMO and the application will be approved/rejected. If approved vaccination certificate will be issued and confirmation regarding the same will be sent via SMS.
