Beneficiary Guidelines

The applicant should be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh. The age of the girl child should be 18 years and above 18 years. The girl child should belong to poor BPL family. The benefit of Kanya Vivah Yojana will be given to two girls of a family. The annual income of the girl’s family should be less than Rs 1 lakh.

• Under the Chief Minister’s Food Scheme, a maximum of two girls above the age of 18 years of the cardholder family, who are living below the poverty line, are benefitted under this scheme.
• Under the scheme, there is a provision to spend a maximum amount of Rs 25,000 for the marriage of each girl child.
• Out of this, 5 thousand rupees are spent on the grooming material of the bride and groom and 14 thousand rupees on other gift items.
