| BSF Group B & C Education Qualification |
- SI (Master), SI (Engine Driver) : 10+2 or its equivalent with relevant certificate
- SI (Workshop) : Diploma/ Bachelor Degree (Engg)
- HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (workshop Trade), Mechanic (Diesel Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpenter, Plumber : Matriculation with relevant certificate
- CT (Crew) : Matriculation or its equivalent
