The scheme has been launched by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme 2020, the state government will provide an amount of Rs. 7500 per hectare for the loss of up to 20% of the actual yield rate of the crops of the state. And in case of loss of more than 20% of the crops in the actual yield rate, an amount of Rs. 10,000 per hectare will be provided.

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana i.e. www.epacs.bih.nic.in.

Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2023: Online Application Form PDF Download – Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme will be provided financial assistance by the government in case of damage to the crops of the farmers of the state due to natural calamities, weather conditions. Under this scheme, if there is a loss of 20 per cent crop per hectare, then an amount of Rs 7,500 is received. Claims of up to 10 thousand are obtained when the loss is more, but if the farmer has more than 2 hectares of land, then there is no benefit from any kind.

Department of Agriculture gives input grants separately. This includes Rs 13500 per hectare for the accumulated area and for the non-irrigated area. 6500 Rs. Per hectare is given. There is a provision to give not less than 1000 rupees to any farmer. On the basis of harvesting, compensation is given by assessing the damage of the crop. Compensation of 7500 rupees per hectare will be given for loss less than 20 percent (even if it is half percent). 10 thousand rupees per hectare compensation will be given for more than 20 percent loss.
