The Chief Minister Kanya Suraksha Yojana (MKSY) was started by the Bihar government for daughters, under which the government will bear the expenses from the birth of daughters to their education. Under this scheme, the government gives total assistance of 51,100 to the daughters. Till now many families have got the benefit of this scheme.
During the last three years, Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana of Government of Bihar has benefitted around 15 lakh girl children born in BPL families.

Bihar Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana 2022: Online Application Form PDF Download – Bihar Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana 2021 has been launched by the state government. You have to contact the nearest Anganwadi center. From here you have to take the form related to the scheme. In this, along with filling the necessary information, photocopies of Aadhar card, identity card, birth certificate of the girl child, bank passbook etc. will have to be attached. Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana Process
- The amount of Rs.2000/- has been invested by Women Development Corporation, Patna, Bihar on behalf of the Government of Bihar in Fixed Deposits in UCO & IDBI Banks.
- On completion of 18 years, the amount equal to the maturity value will be paid to the girl child.
- In case of death of girl child during the intervening period, the amount will be paid back to Women Development Corporation, Bihar.
- The scheme completed third year of its implementation this year.
- During the last three years, Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana of the Government of Bihar has benefitted around 15 lakh girl children born in BPL families.

In order to reduce the rate of female foeticide in the state of Bihar, Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the family of girls from the birth of the girl child till her graduation. The program aims to ensure the rightful place for a girl child in society, her safety and security.

- Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana has been started by the Government of Bihar.
- Through the Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana, the Bihar State Government will provide financial assistance of Rs.51,100 to the beneficiaries.
- The benefit of this scheme will be provided to 1.60 crore girls of the state by the Bihar state government.
- After the girl child attains the age of 18 years , an amount equal to the maturity value will be paid to the girl child .
- If the girl dies before attaining the age of 18 years, then in this case the amount will be paid to Women Development Corporation, Bihar.
- The benefit of the Bihar Mukhyamantri Kanya Suraksha Yojana is limited to 2 girls per family falling below the poverty line.
