The Bihar government provides assistance of up to ₹60,000 for the higher education of the children of laborers. For the marriage of a laborer’s daughter, an additional ₹55,000 is provided by the Bihar government. If the son or daughter of the laborer attains 80%, then he is given an amount of Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 on the attainment of 70% and Rs.10,000 on the attainment of 60%. After the beneficiary attains the age of 60 years, a pension amount of Rs 1 thousand is provided. Under this scheme, if students get more than 80 percent marks then they will get ₹ 25000 if they get 70 percent marks then ₹ 15000 and if 60 percent marks then ₹ 10000 will be provided as incentive.
